Manafort and Cohen were romanced before being raided.

I think you misunderstood me as I agree and I must have misunderstood you as well. Mr. Manafort chose two separate trials as part of the overall legal strategy.

Manafort charges are all federal charges and have nothing to do with the state of New York, which did charge Michael Cohn. Seperate issues all together. The charges Manafort pleaded out today were different from the charges in Virginia decided by jury.

And none of the charges brought so far have anything to do with the campaign nor collusion.

I doubt Mueller will gain much legally from this development other than publicity waves, and from not having to depend on the testimony of Gates again, one of the worst witnesses ever.

I believe I may have jumped in the middle of a conversation and stepped in it, so apologies, and smiles as we actually are in agreement

As pointed out last night when the Manafort plea-deal was first suspected, The White House and Manafort's attorneys were in frequent contact the past few weeks. They all knew what the plea-deal was about. No surprises.

I'm serious.

Given this man's deep, unquestionable insecurity, and his utterly endless need to be viewed as rich and powerful, you can bet your backside that he'd have posted some kind of visual confirmation of his billions by now; were it the truth.

He's a multi millionaire with most of it tied up in shady property deals in any countries which will actually take his money. That's my bet.
