Manafort Pleads Guilty and Will Cooperate With Muller

It was announced about an hour ago officially....

Manafort, 69, pleaded guilty to participating in a conspiracy against the United States — involving money laundering, tax fraud, failing to file Foreign Bank Account Reports, violating the Foreign Agents Registration Act, and lying and misrepresenting to the Department of Justice.

The second charge, conspiracy to obstruct justice, is tied to his efforts to guide witness testimony after he was indicted last year.

The two counts carry a maximum

Under the plea deal with special counsel Robert Mueller's team, Manafort agreed to forfeit multiple properties and bank accounts and to cooperate with investigators, including participating in interviews, providing documents and testifying.

sentence of 10 years in jail and six years of supervised release, as well as up to $500,000 in fines.

Muller will be wraping up soon, and soon we will find out what else they know. Like the trump Tower meeting, the adoption letter, Jrs Email "If its what you say I love it" and the two Phone calls Jr made during that meeting.....Look getting dirt on Hillary, I get it. Lying about it, dictating adoption letters, and trump saying he did not know about it, when Jr, most likely called his father during that meeting. Another link....

That should be obvious by now. And when he is fuel will be added to the fire.

I will say that that dude is a parasite to humanity though. And also he should be sent to Ukraine for further trials.

This is very interesting and it piqued my interest when I read the speculation about this last night.

Manafort is a fairly big fish.

So this begs the question as to what he is cooperating with investigators on and who is involved that is bigger than him?

At first glance, I would say you are correct in mentioning Trump Jr. He seems to be the most likely "fish" that is worth Manafort's testifying before a grand jury and assisting the prosecution/investigators.

I dont care if he has dirt on the meeting. He is going to testify...I keep telling you people, we do not know what Muller does. I think if he does go after trump, he had better be damn sure he has his ducks in a row. The man is not stupid.

Could also be the Podesta brothers who recently became deeply involved thanks to the Mueller investigation.

Its interesting that part of Manafort's deal is SAFETY and PROTECTION for he and his family. Those Russians don't play!

I suspect Manafort will be cooperating in the case against Roger Stone, his business partner for 40 years.
Mueller is going after Stone, having interviewed a dozen or so of his associates.

Stone has already said he expects to be indicted on what he calls some cooked up financial charge.

We're a long way from Russian collusion.
