Didn't think he would actually do that! Waiting to see what happens to the joint defense agreement...

One has to have dirt to flip.

Simply copping to charges does not equal spilling any beans one may or may not have.

Let us hope mueller does not get a flat of have a battery short.

I hear that crypto is traceable after all.

time served

Expect crickets around here on the news until someone on the Right can figure out a way to spin it.

In Court an hour ago Manaforts Attorneys said his plea deal was part of a Cooperation Agreement with Special Counsel and they had already had a "proffer" session with Special Counsel outlining what information Manafort was willing to share under oath.

So whatever it was, it was compelling enough for DOJ to cut him a very nice deal. Dropping a couple dozen charges and limiting any jail time to a max of 10 years and reserving discretion on sentencing.

Manafort could serve time-served or he can go to jail for 10 years depending on if he delvers what he promised them.

All these people who think that Robert Mueller has been playing tiddly winks for the past year and a half and that he is not homing in on trump are simply lying to themselves.

They already have it and have been using it all along. "This has nothing to do with trump" and "This was before he met trump"

But it does and its not.

Jr. or Sr. ?

I haven't heard that, but whatever he offered the Special Counsel had to be weighty since everyone agreed the DOJ had an easy slam dunk against Manafort in the second trial.

I suspect it has to do with the Trump Tower meeting.

So many lies told about that meeting, so many changing stories.

What would that official Pardon stipulate as crimes?

How does Trump pull that off without getting impeached?

Why hasn't Trump pardoned him already, he handed out pardons like candy on the street to Souza and Joe Arpaio, why not Paul?

The answer to your questions is in the post you responded to.

Maybe you were just expounding on my point.

You gotta weigh both paths and see which is best for manafort and trump.

Taking a deal at this point saves manafort much money and properties while getting a pardon leaves him broke and trump in a hot seat.

The sentence will tell the tale.

I've been watching the revolving door of shills, bots and sock puppet trump supporters here on ATS and I never expect them to acknowledge reality.
