Yeah I like her. I like that she's a military vet.

The Establishment democrats hate her. She would never get the nomination.

She should run as an independent with Sanders as VP. or some scenario like that. That would do either of 2 things...ensure Trump or Pence gets elected because the liberals will be split or they become a real force destroying the democratic party as we know it. LOL

It’s going to be a cold shower for a lot of people when they realize the Democrat base really isn’t that rabid, that you’ve been fed images of the outlying crazies and accepted them as a picture of the whole.

She is representative of most of the people who vote Democrat. What the online echo chambers told you isn’t the truth, just propaganda.

It’s also nice she isn’t constantly looking in a rear view mirror screaming about politicians who aren’t even in office anymore. As so many people here are accustomed to doing.

There is no cold shower. Only warm gift of stupid showers from people like Maxine Waters and Nancy Pelosi -just to name 2. There are many many more - just one a daily mission of stupid. Sometimes I wonder if those two are actually secretly working for the RNC - I mean they are just embarrassing. And not just sometimes, practically ALL THE TIME. And they have mucho power in the DNC.

That is what the DNC gets for 40 years of divide and conquer, they believed their own horse manure so much that they are now dividing and conquering themselves.

I have seen her on a few interviews in the last few years, and I think she comes across really well, with great credibility. Her Iraq experience gives her the ability to rise above the political bull#. I would vote for her in a heartbeat.

Naw mate, she's closer to most Americans she leans left on some things and right on others.

She is a moderate by my definition, left wing or right wing will sit in their zone most of the time.

I would feel very comfortable voting for her, personally unless she has a major skeleton in the closet she could easily be the first female president.

I think she would be, too.

Her only issue, and to me it's not one, is Hindu. Unfortunately, many, not most, but many would have an issue with that.

She's a moderate. She served two tours in the ME. What cemented it for me, though I was already inclined to support her should she run, was she told the DNC where to stick it, resigned from her position, and supported Sanders, OK, so she's not perfect... But I respect the backbone it took to tell 'em where to go.

That episode alone will, in all likelihood, cost her any chance of running successfully in the current climate in democratic politics.

But, if she runs, she's got my vote, my support, and my money (not much of it, mind...but some.)

Run as an independent, with Sanders? No. Not only no, but Hell no.

Her running? Absolutely, run Tulsi, run!!! Not Sanders. Never Sanders. Defeats the entire purpose of going to younger candidates. He'll be 79.

Gabbard would/will be 39-40. A running mate a few years older, not twice her age, would be the way to go.

But...

If she even on the national ticket, it would be only as a VP, and that's unlikely given how much the DNC hates her, Howard Dean in particular.

She already has a great first name... Tulsi is a 'wonder herb' used in Ayurveda.

With the cold/flu season soon to be arriving and schools in-session, look at ALL the wonderful things Tulsi does. If the Lady Tulsi did 1/4 She'd garner many votes, so perfect segue...

I would vote for her but the pro-Isreal democratic side or Zionists would veto her.

By my definition, as well.

If the Democratic higher ups can not recognize an opportunity here, than they're just as stupid as we suspect they might be...

There's a lot to like, and the rest I can respect, and deal with.

You're probably right about that, with dozens of dual Israeli citizens in government, but that is no reason not to vote for her.

You should vote for her as a form of protest. Rage against the machine, eh

Oh, I forgot I even made this thread a year ago. I guess I inferred correctly lol. You don't say things like that two years out having not been a public figure without motive. Still gunning for Joni Ernst for a female candidate of at least VP. Pence had his turn, let the GOP show how progressive it can be with a woman VP!

When the election comes, her stance and views on Israel and AIPAC would be the determining factor. If she is in their camp, I cannot vote for her.

Tulsi is not a moderate, and I'm not convinced this thing with her and Hillary isn't just a show.
