Is Tulsi Gabbard Throwing Punches for Visibility as a Presidential Contendor

While President Trump & VP Pence give 9/11 speeches about how much they care about the victims of al-Qaeda’s attack on our country, they are simultaneously acting as protectors of AQ in Syria/Idlib, threatening Russia and Syria that if they attack al-Qaeda, we will punish them.

Man, she went right for the throat here. She tweeted this @ POTUS on 9/11. Its too much of a damn shame she is not calling out Obama and John Kerry and the late John McCain for actually importing them into Syria from the get go.

I guess the Democrats finally got a clue. They need a realistic human being to take their party from the brink of death. Not liking where this is going though. It will be difficult accusation to reply to.

To be honest, she would actually be a good nominee for President for the Democratic party.

She seems to be one of their only voices of reason in a crowd of lunatics.

If she were smart though she would be working towards 2024.

Somebody like her would actually give the democrats a chance, but she has zero chance of getting through the primary.

The rabid base would never accept her moderate approach.

I think she's great. Probably too moderate for the s@#$how that's going on right now, but I definitely would support her.

of course she is great guys. I been saying it since 2016! I bring it up everytime someone does a "How can the Dems save the party" type of thread, or those "who would be a likely DNC presidential nominee candidate"

However, she clearly works for the other side of the Deep state when she makes this kind of comment. It was literally her party, and the leaders of her party with help from old man McCain that blessed those terrorists into Syria with the assistance of Turkey and the head members of the GCC.

So if she is already starting off like this, with conveniently leaving that information out, it tells me she is still just playing lip service for political reasons. Too damn bad. Without the self reflection on her party she is essentially killing her credibility. She just shot it out for me.

In her stead, I vote Joni Ernst, a Republican female senator with a similar military service background and results to show for her career in Iowa as well on several different committee boards. I shall accept her as the first female President and Tulsi can now go to hell. And here i thought my choice was going to be difficult.

Assuming that The Official 9/11 Conspiracy Theory is at all true, then Obama/McCain/Hillary/CIA/DIA/DOD/Google (everyone involved in that operation) are the biggest traitors in USA history. They make Benedict Arnold look like a spring chicken at the proverbial Brand Loyalist Academy.

She was just on Joe Rogan's podcast a few days ago, and seemed very reasonable. I am neither a Democrat or a Republican, she might just get my vote for President if she runs though.

Many states will allow you to write-in.

Sorry, but the number 1 rule to sales is no negatives.

If the demorats want to get any attention they need to stop their bs and run on ending the scam called income tax.
Or something that could appeal to actual citizens.

It feels like the overall plan is to throw out 2 types of bad governments using the media.
Both with bad policy.

You have the repukes in one corner, they say they will fight to keep your tax breaks, as if that's not total bs and should be rioting over, or you have the demonrats in the other corner outright calling for tax increases and gun removal.

That’s what I’ve been saying for at least a year. 2020 may be a little early for so I agree a 2024 run would be better.

She has my vote and I don’t even care if she goes out to 5th ave and shoots someone. Or if she starts grabbing other chicks by the kitty. Or if she says she would date her own daughter.

Brink of death? All the polls say that Democrats are universally ahead everywhere all the time - forever.

I do think she is one of the few Dems that seems reasonable, but her being a Democrat alone makes me think her agenda is probably hidden.

Hardly.

Shes against PACs, and SuperPac's which everyone in politics to the right of her, including most of the democrat party members, rely on for support, against the sort of nonsense that happened to keep Bernie off the card for the 2016 election (which the DNC MODERATES relied upon to keep their dirty, money taking hands on the tiller). There is nothing moderate about the woman. She is for a root and branch deconstruction of the way voting works, in favour of regular people not having to do irregular things, just to be able to actually participate in the elections process. She is for politicians ONLY representing the will, needs and dreams of regular voters, not bothering themselves with the meaningless, greed inspired prattle of the super rich, or of corporations and their self interested designs on policy writing to come.

She is not moderate in the slightest. She is firmly, most utterly left wing, as you can tell by her firm association with Mr Bernie Sanders. In fact, if he runs in 2020, I would not be at all surprised to see Gabbard on his ticket, or to see her on her own ticket in the further future.

Don't forget Bush, Powell, George J Tenet, Micheal Hayden, every general who went to war in Iraq, Afghanistan or anywhere in the Middle East and North Africa during the war on terror, or all the people who kept quiet about the fact that AQ were a CIA asset, that its remnants STILL are CIA assets. And don't forget the overwhelmingly Republican linked beneficiaries of the MIC, everyone IN the Military Industrial Complex, and those voters who aided and abetted the War on Terror by getting gung ho about killing Muslims in retaliation.

The Democrats need Tulsi Gabbard IMO. I think she is the only one who would even be competitive right now in a race against Trump.

Ummm...TBH...although I agree with your OP...I also can't help but agree with Congress critter Gabbard...

The irony couched in what you stated and she purposely didn't include in her statement does make her effort ring a tad hollow...

I also agree with Lumenari...but think that if she rides the leftist train too much she may have to swallow more complicity than she may be able to stomach...and retain that voice of reason in that crowd of lunatics...

Right now Tulsi Gabbard is the only Democrat in the country worth anything at all. She actually loves America and reminds me of what it used to mean to be a Democrat. She's not sucking up to socialists. Early in Trump's administration, she was shortlisted by Trump for cabinet-level positions.

She may be a Bernie acolyte in some respects, but I believe that is more of a base issue than a beliefs issue. After the positions I've sen her take, calling her a leftist is a step too far.

It’s going to be a cold shower for a lot of people when they realize the Democrat base really isn’t that rabid, that you’ve been fed images of the outlying crazies and accepted them as a picture of the whole.

She is representative of most of the people who vote Democrat. What the online echo chambers told you isn’t the truth, just propaganda.

It’s also nice she isn’t constantly looking in a rear view mirror screaming about politicians who aren’t even in office anymore. As so many people here are accustomed to doing.

I have always liked her as a candidate.

Unfortunately she won't have a chance. On a more left leaning websites the democrats there made it clear she was not "left" or extreme enough.

They hate the fact she doesn't focus on identity politics and instead real issues and despise that she willing to work with republican to get the job done and hate even more she has never been a Clinton sycophant.
