That is very interesting and definitely something that needs more looking into.
Good find CWM.

1.) WHAT would have been the reason(s) for spying on Donald Trump AFTER he had already won the election for U.S. President?
2.) WHY would the United States colloborate (collude?) with the United Kingdom to spy on President-elect Trump?
3.) If true, was this illegal, or was it merely post-election "opposition research"?

Five eyes.
SOURCE: en.wikipedia.org...
The "Five Eyes" (FVEY) refers to an alliance comprising Australia, Canada, New Zealand, the United Kingdom and the United States. These countries are bound by the multilateral UKUSA Agreement for joint cooperation in signals intelligence, military intelligence, and human intelligence. In recent years, documents of the FVEY have shown that they are intentionally spying on one another's citizens and sharing the collected information with each other in order to circumvent restrictive domestic regulations on spying.[8]

These “spy gates” have been going on for a VERY long time. And they will continue to happen until the end of time. Governments know everything about you and I and there is nothing we can do about as an individual. It is done by the left, right and everybody in between.
Better not to blame one side and accept that all sides do this.
The issue is that the Executive branch was spying on a domestic political opponent (with the help of foreign Govts.)
If there is a SC investigation into the Trump campaign, then it dictates that this should be taken just as seriously.
The OIG, in response to requests from the Attorney General and Members of Congress, is examining the Department’s and the FBI’s compliance with legal requirements, and with applicable DOJ and FBI policies and procedures, in applications filed with the U.S. Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court (FISC) relating to a certain U.S. person.
As part of this examination, the OIG is also reviewing information that was known to the DOJ and the FBI at the time the applications were filed from or about an alleged FBI confidential source. Additionally, the OIG is reviewing the DOJ’s and FBI’s relationship and communications with the alleged source as they relate to the FISC applications.
If circumstances warrant, the OIG will consider including other issues that may arise during the course of the review.

The following is not the original website where the document was leaked, but it shows the full document.

Three questions for the deep political thinkers of ATS. In your opinion:
1.) WHAT would have been the reason(s) for spying on Donald Trump AFTER he had already won the election for U.S. President?
2.) WHY would the United States colloborate (collude?) with the United Kingdom to spy on President-elect Trump?
3.) If true, was this illegal, or was it merely post-election "opposition research"?

BTW, in case people forgot, Hannigan all of a sudden, and not long after this document was leaked, resigned from his post/position.
