This is pretty damning.

Michael Cohen's lawyer has said his client will refuse any pardon from Donald Trump, branding the US president a "criminal".

Lanny Davis, who was hired by Mr Cohen last month, told National Public Radio Mr Trump's former attorney would "never" accept a pardon from "a man that he considers to be a corrupt and a dangerous person".

The unexpected statement comes as yet another blow to Mr Trump's chances of extricating himself from what is developing into a legal minefield.

What made Cohen turn on Trump so unexpectedly I wonder? Is it because Trump turned his back?

Mind you Cohen's Lawyer has ties to the Clinton Administration. With that said, Cohen did bring on Lanny Davis himself and this is his attorney authorized to speak on his behalf. Unless we have a straight up denial from Cohen it seems like this is a legitimate message direct from him. It makes you wonder whether Trump has any true friends in DC?

Lanny Davis was a Democratic strategist for the Clintons. I can't imagine what in the hell Cohen was thinking when he hired him. Cohen basically hired Bill Clinton's lawyer to represent him, and got exactly the result you'd expect. Plenty of legal experts are saying the campaign finance law doesn't even apply.

Wow. This is an important development. I wonder what's going on behind the scenes....?

That is a plus, in my opinion.

This is certainly very interesting. That's a bold move considering he is looking at 3-5 in jail and possibly losing his finances, which I believe I read is one of his biggest worries for his family.

Trump has shown that once you're on his bad side, getting anything from him could be a coin flip at best. Perhaps a person(s) offered to help him out with the lawyer. I think offering him straight cash may be a long shot, but in today's political climate, I wouldn't be totally shocked.

Donald Trump has no friends, only people he uses.

No trump has very few friends, that’s true

When you slightly go against the war mongering deep state, that tends to alienate you

Just ask chuck schumer, he told us all this would happen

So Cohen, who is a criminal, had his office raided by the deep state

So now he is playing ball

His lawyer Lanny Davis is not just Hillary connected, but is also the lawyer of one of the very Russian oligarchs trumps team is said to have colluded with

It’s clear this was the plan all along

Make up any story, wiretap any person, break any law to get one just one person close to trump to flip, and then use that flip to justify all of the law breaking needed to get there

But hey cheers to the neo libs and neo cons!

If they are successful, I look forward to the endless wars and regime changes they will offer!

There is no way that Trump would pardon a "RAT," so the statement is just another melodramatic moment in the disgusting reality TV show Trump has dumped our country in to.

I find this... intriguing. Why punish himself, by not accepting a pardon? If he's that PO'd, why not accept it, move somewhere without extradition laws, middle finger him, and laugh all the way to the beach or lounge chair?

I wonder if he's been instructed not to accept a pardon (insert whatever threats you can dream up), and this was the excuse given?

Have we withdrawn from Iraq, Afghanistan, or Syria lately? Closed Gitmo? Trump has done nothing to alter the course of United States military adventurism.

Nah, it's not.

It's just someone's opinion.

Got anything else?

What made Cohen turn on Trump so unexpectedly I wonder? Is it because Trump turned his back?

Maybe some Democratic corrupt payed him off?

Since we're dealing with opinions here, that's mine.

Mind you Cohen's Lawyer has ties to the Clinton Administration?

Oh, who would've thought that?

Nope. He is guilty as h---- and turned state witness to protect himself. This is standard procedure in racketeering cases. In case you haven't noticed, casino owning, porn star shtupping Trump is a gangster.

False, that would be the liberal media and their rabid obsession with Trump.

Nope, and that's unacceptable. Someone needs to start dialing all that back, and it needs to be sooner rather than later.
