Banning Alex Jones and Kerry Cassidy Signals shows us corporations have become the new censors but who appointed them censors?

Will this see the ‘media and business moguls’ become a new level of government? Are they that now? Have they been that for some time before coming out into the open like this?

Will this pave the way for legislation to ban discussion on the internet of acts by government or corporations which may be criminal in nature.

Will the banks become even less fearful of media criticism let alone fear of the law?

Facebook and YouTube between them have around 4 billion users a month. Does this mean they can now influence elections with a mere logarithm. Might it make political party and government interference in elections obsolete?

Will it mean there will be no need to change legislation in targeted countries of the world because the mega media monopoly will now guide all the important narratives in the countires of the world that could exert influence over events of our time?

Will legislators now feel incentivised to make more visual display their loyalty to the new upper government by engaging in highly public displays of criminalizing journalistic acts which have the effect of exposing crime in government.

What further restrictions might this “government above government” put on us all in the future?

Will political satire quickly become a thing of the past?

By banning Alex Jones and Kerry Cassidy did Big Brother just come out from behind the shadows? Is this how bold they are now?

Social media is the bane of human existence. It has corrupted an entire generation of our society, and at the end of the day it is irrelevant. That Alex Jones is a thing, and FailBook censors them should not matter one iota to anyone, but it does. Alex Jone is an idiot...and so is Mark Suckerbird. People today don't even know who their next door neighbor is, but their "BFF" lives 10,000 miles away and they've never even met them. Yet they snort the "likes" as if they were a powdered narcotic. It's insane, and it's retarded.

To answer to your question; no one appointed them censors. And, quite frankly, no one appointed them to anything. 10,000 years ago cliff dwelling people inscribed paintings of important things into rocks, things like fire and food. 10,000 years from now there will be no record of society, because they we are that shallow. Alex Jones and Mark Suckerbird won't even be a memory. Failbook will be remembered as a cancerous polyp on the anus of humanity.

Alex Jones is nothing more than the National Enquirer personified. And, Failbook is nothing more than a stain on the carpet under the office water cooler spigot. They are both irrelevant. Even more importantly, the MSM has become irrelevant now too. This business of failbook censoring alex jones woldn't even be a "thing" if the MSM hadn't made it that way. When U-toob, failbook, twit, instafail all meet their end (and they will), society will look back on this era and ask themselves what the F# were we thinking? An entire generation lost. Parents will ask themselves what the meaning of life was, because their children (the future) defined their existence through a facade of some pseudo-reality, never venturing outside Mom's basement. No, the next Call of Duty tournament was about to begin.

Alex Jones? Who is he?

FailBook? What is that?

Sadly, it's had a massive impact on more than one generation.

I used facebook when it first started up but it didn't take long for me to realise the implications of this ungodly social media.

The MSM gave social media a voice. Twit, FailBook and insta-fail (twit in particular) wouldn't even be a commodity if the MSM hadn't made them that way. Now the liberal MSM is trying to redeem themselves (and FailBook) by appearing to have an air of legitimacy in banning Alex Jones?????

What a JOKE!

Really, who gives a flying "foo-fah"????

Well, I wouldn't give them even an "ungodly" status...more like "unholy", "filthy" and "disgusting".

Stop subsidizing these entities, and they can do what ever they want.

All the above posters seem to have missed the point.

They must be either oblivious to whats going on in the world and in their own country in particular or, they are successful outcomes of the what the what the powers that should not be; wants them to be.

Whether or not one is interested in what Alex Jones or Kerry Cassidey have to say or whether they believe anything they say is not the point. How could they miss that??

Quite clearly some people cannot see the impending tyranny that is descending on them and their families and their friends.

As Adolf Hitler said "The best way to take control over a people and control them utterly is to take a little of their freedom at a time, to erode rights by a thousand tiny and almost imperceptible reductions. In this way people will not see those rights and freedoms being removed until past the point at which these changes cannot be reversed -

What Hitler was also getting at is that; if we take freedom, rights, privacy, choices and options away from people little by little, they have nothing to rally around even if they wanted to rise up against the tyranny was descending on them.

However; if big changes were made in a short time, this galvanises people because they now have something to rally around.

There are many who can see the US and many other countries descending into that big back hole of tyranny but others ..... well they just have no idea of whats coming down the track at them. One day they will realise but by then it will be far, far too late.

The powers that should not be have certainly done a good job on them.

Awesome! I'd LOVE to see your research, so we could compare notes. I assume you just have ACRES of evidence to back this up, right? You know, links and stuff, yes?

On the other hand, maybe you should take some time, try to find a good school, and get back to me when you learn to speak English.

It's this type of thing that raises the level of hysteria beyond all reason.

Had to move seven times because Alex Jones made a video? C,mon. Can't visit their child's grave? Get real.

There's more to this if that's really the case. Maybe their anti gun thing has something to do with it but even that doesn't sound reasonable. It's possible these people are mentally ill. I think they just started more feuds then they can handle and are now trying to cash in by blaming Jones.

Does Barnes and Noble have every book you want at each store?

Also, in their eyes, it may be harmful to allow him to have space on their servers and distribution on their networks.... which they pay for.

No, we didn't miss the point, it was just wrong.

Talking about Hitler won't change my mind that businesses get to pick who use their product.

Especially if they are offering hosting and distribution of audio for free. That free service is usually accompanied with T&C. Even if it doesn't violate, they can choose to have something removed.
