What needs to happen, is people need to write the NYTs advertisers and threaten to stop buying their products until this women is fired. The only way to shut this down is to hit their bottom line. That paper is on the decline the past few years anyway, so I am sure it would have an effect immediately. I am really starting to think this country needs hate crime legislation. Hate speech should be considered a hate crime IMHO. Allowing a died in the wool racist to work for a paper like the NYT helps to perpetuate the increasing atmosphere of racial division and hate that is increasing here. We should not tolerate hate speech against anyone and that includes white people.

Last I checked, based on FBI UCR, white folks are the victims of hate crimes far more frequently than any other race. Time to end racism against white Europeans, and discrimination against straight males.

Watch Tucker Carlson ask them basic question about issues/civics/governments/a Republic. They fail every single time. Sure, they can explain why feminism and icebergs are connected (?) or how "global warming" (?) affects everyone but Al Gore... but ask them about real issues that matter, and they'll sit there with a dumb/blank expression waiting for their talking points on the issue

Just my assessment, but its not quite out of control yet.

But its going that way. Know how to tell its gotten really bad? Watch the casual dining stock prices. When it gets really bad the whites, even in the burbs, quit eating out.

I really dont. My interests run to the stock and oil markets. I only watch CNBC and Bloomberg. Used to watch fox but hey, heres the deal. They have a Fox Business Network and its all politics and no business. What a crock.

I don't get my news from Fox, although I do *seldom* watch them for entertainment purposes. Much like CNN/MSNBC (with their left wing bias), I find Fox has an equally noticeable right wing slant and therefore isn't very reliable for sources.

I do enjoy their OP-ED peices, but as far as getting factual material without political bias no MSM outlet is worth my time.

Basically Fox/CNN/MSNBC is only worth getting headlines from, things you can investigate/verify with your own research. I never accept their conclusions, just a I outright reject the government's conclusions (as anything more than a starting point for personal vetting)

No need to write their advertisers, just stop giving them views. The problem is that a lot of people simply don't understand how these bias news agencies are ruining good journalism. Fox, MSNBC, New York Times, CNN, infowars (Alex jones gets big numbers), rush Limbaugh, ect...

Well said, in today's world you have to do a little research. All these big corporations have agendas.

After reading her tweets, it sounds like she was just trying to piss off the racist white dudes that were harassing her.

Furthermore, it was most likely her harassers that bring these tweets to media attention in an attempt to get her fired. I've seen this done before in the news. When someone starts getting successful, people will dig up something they said in the past (no matter how long ago), take it out of context, and try to ruin their carreer.

I don't think she should be fired. We shouldn't be giving these basement-dwelling hate-fueled trolls any power.

They just want to burn anybody who gets successful.
