10-4 ...it's so tricky in a gusty downdraft over the threshold on arrivals... departing, ...he probably felt structure bending....or he'd of kept the thrust which must have been full.

So to try and shut down all the spool-up.....nightmare of mine

Day before I was figuring that spool-up a little on arrival is a good idea.....for a Captain....explain to the right seat what he's doing......get more rudder authority till the main gear are close to touch in down, right when the radar altimeter says 10 feet in 757

Doesn't help on departure.....step on the high wing is mandatory.

There's a video on social media that appears to be from inside the cabin, from initial acceleration. It's not clear if the aircraft became airborne or not.

Why? Because the weather sucked and it had one accident?

Preliminary report is that the aircraft traversed a microburst right at the point of getting airborne and lost lift.

The flight took off in windshear, with an unqualified pilot in command in the First Officer's seat. There was another crew member in the cabin who was allowed into the cockpit prior to takeoff. He was a certified pilot on twin engine aircraft who was aspiring to fly Ejets. He was allowed to perform the First Officer duties while the actual FO did the external preflight, then was allowed to perform the takeoff.
