Good news about your mates other half.....and great choice of music.

Lost far too many good friends over the years, it never gets easier. This last year has been particularly bad so its good to hear some good news.

ETA
Top tune. Mike Skinner is seriously underrated.

I love spicy, and I've never tried fried green tomatoes, to me it is just the name of a movie...a movie I've still never actually watched.

Lmao @British weather haha, was full sun and blues skies today, really nice. Don't worry though it'll be same old grey sky and drizzle rain season back soon.

I wonder if when people from the UK sees blue skies they worry something's wrong
But once it goes back to rainy skies things are good again
lmao

j/k

Pmsl yes!!!
Enjoy your lay in, I'm not jealous!

EDIT

Lol, well life has a way to balance things out, some people had to work hard but we compensated by spending all day on Netflix and Youtube lmao, equilibrium was achieved

Found this song, she's amazing, i wish there was a better version of this song. Found the original and some other versions but this is the one i liked the most, but i could not find a better video of that same event

EDIT to add: My mom was born in 1976, i find it so weird to think she was a baby when this was going on he he. I find it amazing how times goes by. I am looking a lot into punk from 70's in the US and that's how i found this song by the way, still going through that but so far i don't know, it seems like either they go too much into crazy stuff or are too white and basic. Maybe i'm looking at the wrong bands :S

This is more like what i wanted to find, but this is from the 80's and i heard that punk started on the 70's, so i did not find the same kind of music as i was looking to find. The Ramones are cool but are not like this :S

Took a peek at that Brexit thread, i don't understand much about implications of that issue, but i can see is one of those things were people are ripping their skins off over something they want but really can't control at all

Lmao I think Freeborn is being lazy today, he had a crazy weekend.
And beer yes haha, regarding work my philosophy has always been "You have to pay to play" so until I'm a millionaire that dirty 4 letter word beginning with W has to cover it!
Have a lazy day

Just popping in for a quick snack, ham and mustard sarnie.

Indian ordered for tonight; Chicken Tikka Jalfrezi, Keema Rice and Garlic Nan.

Did someone mention Punk?

Here's some decent American punk;

Adolescents. Kids of the Black Hole.

Dead Kennedys. California Uber Alles.

Dropkick Murphys. The Workers Song.

Old Firm Casuals. Perry Boys.

Could comment on all four tracks but don't want to bore the tits off everyone.

Dropkick Murphys are Irish-American - never understood all that, surely you're either one or the other...I'm not Irish-English, just English, end of - and they come from Boston.

Its on my bucket list to see them in Boston on St Paddys Day. (Not one for celebrating Paddys Day, it should strictly be for the Irish, but I would make that one exception).

Excellent live band and they've never lost track of where they came from.

Any live concert is good......literally can't beat good live music with good beer and good friends, life really doesn't get much better than that.

Scran is due soon - ordered Bombay Aloo as well and an extra nan just to be sure!
