Spain's new submarine, The S-80 Boat is having all sorts of problems.

Firstly it wouldn't float. So they had to increase the length to enable it to do so.

Now they have increased it's length, it's to large to fit into the dock.

Made me laugh anyway.

LOL...whoops!

A former Spanish official told the Associated Press at the time that someone had put a decimal point in the wrong place, and "nobody paid attention to review the calculations".

Measure twice, cut once.....amazing this kind of thing still happens.

Yeah. That quote I put up from the story must have been one of those involved....it says "a former Spanish official"....my guess is he was part of the team.

Was just about to say I didn't think the Spanish had a navy since Elizabethan times but I guess you sort of beat me to it!

Well it started as a surface navy and then we turned it into a submarine navy

One would think Spain would be the best builders of submarines anywhere.
After all, look at how many ships they have under water.

They go under easy enough, it's getting them back up that's always been the problem.
