I don't mind OLP, I didn't really care for his solo stuff though. His voice gets irritating after a while.

Ohoho, but of course! I saw Triumph in Ottawa back in the mid-80s. Always been a fan. At that concert another Canadian rock band opened up for them called Brighton Rock.

They had a song called 'Young, Wild & Free'... If you recall, Triumph's song 'Magic Power' contains those words in its lyrics. Check it out:

I partied with Alanis Morissette in Ottawa once in the 80s when she was still on 'You Can't Do That on Television'. We were both in highschool at the time, different ones though..

Nickelback have been criticized for over-use of themes involving strippers, sex, prostitutes, drugs, and alcohol consumption,[108] and for the derivative, repetitive and formulaic nature of their music.[109][110][111] In November 2011, users of the music-oriented dating site Tastebuds.fm voted Nickelback as the number one musical turnoff, edging out Justin Bieber and Lady Gaga.[112] In May 2013, the readers of Rolling Stone magazine named Nickelback the second worst band of the 1990s, behind only Creed.[113]
