For most good esoteric freemasons, the use of Sirius and Alnilam is done in the manner written by others here, however Sirius has duality and can be used in war etc. It isn't only masons that use these stars, so finding who are the good the bad and the ugly can be difficult.

I will give an example of a bad guy who wanted to blow up London with Bombs, and aligned Sirius to the rising Sun, if he had succeeded, there wouldn't have been anyone else to fight him in Europe, anyone for black uniforms, ha ha?

In symbolism esoteric freemasons look at Sirius as where souls go after death for a vacation. It is a star that in myths is very powerful and god-like. It is believed by those that don't use Sirius for self-development that it can be used as a burst of energy to help gain advantage in evil acts on Earth, but only if Sirius is aligned at location.

There are four auspicious directions, Due East or Due West at location, which is the horizon. Due South is the highest point that a star can culminate, as they rise in the East and set in the West, however in the Southern Hemisphere, stars culminate at Due North. In our Northern Hemisphere,(Britain, Canada etc.), Due North is the Nadir.
There are 3 ways that a day can be divided, modern midnight, Egyptian day marker, being Sunrise, Greek day marker being Sun set of previous day.

This means Sirius can align at location 12 days out of a year within one degree= 3x4=12 days
This means the same for Alnilam which can also align 12 days a year at any location= 24 days out of 365 days of a year.
In truth it doesn't work like that for at least one day there will be a double up, Alnilam my be on Nadir as the Sun is setting, Sirius may be culminating while the Sun is rising. Some locations lose an alignment at midnight during Summer Time. Mostly these two stars can be aligned by chance 22 times out of 365 days.

I am not a member of any of those four other groups, so I have no direct knowledge of their different teachings or how they connect - if they do.

As for Sirius being the place where we go after death, there was one thing a found that said Sirius is the place of souls or something to that effect. It wasn't from a Masonic source but; also, there is Pike who said there is a spiritual significance to Sirius. So, I won't deny that you are probably correct to a certain degree. It's just that there isn't any official teaching that Masons have to adhere to in this case. Many have speculated on its significance and nobody has the final word on the matter.

I'm more inclined to accept it as a symbol of deity but I also happen to personally believe aliens might have visited the earth from there way back in history.

I agree there are many interpretations for intentional use of Sirius, which is sad as we can't get to the truth!
Esoteric Freemasons often mention the star of the East or Bethlehem, but what date do we use, and did others step in to give us an intentional date of birth of Jesus and Three Wise Men?

Early Christian Church Think of Epiphany for the Three Wise Men, but be careful, we don't know when Christ was born, or died!!!

I find it very suspicious that the Jews use sunset previous to date as start of the day, thus in Bethlehem sunset on 5th January during period Sun is setting as Sirius is rising in Bethlehem, year date doesn't matter as this will happen for several centuries on date at location.

As an astronomer on a camel i could have followed this alignment from Persia, but i would have to know date of birth of Christ before i set out, so says a disabled guy who isn't one of the Wise Men! Astronomy graph below:-

Ha! Would you look at that?! Truman signed the Act aboard his POTUS aircraft, nicknamed the 'Sacred Cow'!

The Act came into effect on 09.18.1947 which included the creation of the C__A.

From your data above it almost seems like it was planned that way by some astrologer-insider participating in writing the Act so that everything would line-up with Sirius!

Maybe the original intent was to harness the good energy from the star in creating this intelligence service. The purpose of the C__A was to protect the American citizens, right?
