I noticed too. Just speaking to my wife now and we both don't understand how we could've gotten Democrat for all of our lives until 2016. It amazes me and saddens me I was one of those low info voters.

Google Says that James Comey has been registered as an Independent since 2016. So that should suffice. I'll go find a video of his appearance before the House right now. Thanks!

He was a Republican from his youth until 2016. He served in Republican administrations.
