Trump's recent statement that " Germany is totally controlled by Russia" , made at the NATO Summit yesterday could be very telling of the state of international affairs right now.
Trump has managed to alienate European , and Eastern Bloc (SCO) interests , with both economic and strategic areas now throwing up their own blocks against Trumps aggressive stance on tariffs and latterly his militaristic efforts . NATO is becoming effectively redundant as Trump complains that America is having to pay to protect everyone else - from Russia China et al (read SCO/Eastern Bloc) .

And this has forced the shared European view away from America's interests , and fortunately , towards peace and co-operation with Russia , China and importantly Iran , as being somewhat symbolic of the American will for interference and effective economic and physical war with the Eastern Bloc , but also the European exasperation at having to follow on where America, particularly Trump, dictates . The recently scrapped nuclear 'deal' with Iran has now got Macron talking and agreeing with Putin , and to boot , the leaders of Germany and the other European countries bar Britain , agreeing with him . Agreeing with Putin, and taking forward ongoing terms , is agreeing with the entire SCO , notably President Xi , Modi , Temer and the others .

While those SCO leaders are signatories to the multi-polar world pact , are Europe about to turn away from America , to end the current unipolar state of the world ? Trump's desperate statement that 'Germany are totally controlled by Russia' , be very telling at the NATO summit , a summit where
1. The SCO are not invited , but
2. The main benefactor , the most favoured nation , the controlling faction :- America , are not welcome ?
Especially while Trump complains that it must provide a higher percentage of its GDP to fund the alliance's hardware and logistics ?

History has taught us that alliances do shift , and that countries make move towards , and away , from supremacy . Every empire must crumble , and while Trump has failed to stop the shift away from dollar only trading in oil in the last year , his warlike attitude towards eg North Korea and Iran has met with both stiff resistance from the SCO , AND European reluctance to follow suit . Why should Europe really want to contribute to what amounts to unipolar greed ? It's dangerous enough to cause major nuclear wars , and a unipolar world is un-necessary enough to warrant putting paid to that state of affairs .

It seem as if the times are radically changing in International affairs, the age of American imperialist dominance is waning away , only helped by Trump's beligerance , and of course his America first attitude towards the rest of the world .Why on earth should the rest of the world ever need to continue putting America first ?

This current situation leaves questions over Brexit , was it orchestrated by American interests ? If, having already seen this situation where America loses it's European allies, and hence its economic and military and political dominance of the globe, coming over the horizon ?
Possibly
Did America need at least one firm ally over Europe , who would not be swayed away by European wills, who are themselves now turning collectively away from America's previously uplifted status, policy being easy to agree on through the EPP (European People's Party) ?
Perhaps so , for after all we have heard this theory regarding Orbis business intelligence shared by the twodetermined campaigns , and of course we have seen Farage and Trump outright together .
And what of the situation now then ? Has May become convinced that Brexit was the will of American interests only , and meanwhile Boris and Davies have run , the Brexiteers are thrown into disarray and confusion , while America is being shoved ten steps backwards , by the rest of the world?
For where are the American allies if Europe are not there ? The answer is surely within the Commonwealth - Britain, Canada , Australia ,
and right now as Trump is about to make his first official visit to Britain , it looks as if May has deserted him , and he needs to see the Queen . Is he invited to Buckingham or Windsor ? No .

The situation , as read today , as things change over time , is that America is being pushed back to where it should be ,an equal not a superior, by the East and now Europe too , having thrown up tariffs on American imports themselves . It's only real friend is Britain , who are now wiser and more reluctant to feed power to American economic and military demands . America is losing its influence in Europe as we speak , the NATO alliance being broken up , and everyone knows why . The future has its own dangers to throw up but with all this at least WW3 has become less of a concern .

That was quite a read. Trump, who I personally dislike, is finally taking a stand in the game for dominance in many ways-presently in the economic area. It's been years of the US slidng from power in every area due to weak governance and fear of finally enforcing previously agreed to economic sanctions.

Unike Obama, Clinton and Bush, he is standing up and saying the words to the puppet countries of Europe who folllow the leader of the moment-maninly Putin and Xi. Way pasttime that the US reinforces our position as leader and calls out uncooperating countries-make them speak out where they stand and quit playing hide and seek with their economies.

This is tough stuff and takes guts. Let the European weaklings show their true colors and it's way pasttime they were called out for not paying up their part of agreements thinkng the US didn't have the guts to call them out.

Trump is brash, bold and they do fear him; unlike weakling Obama who did as he was told and bowed to the world.

Trump isn't afraid. He knows what's got to be done to keep US dominance and that's what's best for the US now and in the future. I am impressed wth with his lack of fear-I hope he keeps it up. He's a leader-like him or not.

What alternate dimension do you live in?

1. The NATO countries did what Trump asked.

2. Trump has made more progress towards peace with NK than anyone has in over 50 years.

If one believes big energy controls American policy

Wouldn’t that logic apply to Germany as well??? Instead of big energy they have big Russia supplying their energy needs

Either the orginazations that provide energy have strong influence over governement or they do not

Please pick a narrative and stick to it

Id believe that to be true, large energy corporations control government at least to direct policy
to save them money.
Probably the reason Scotland wont go independent , because we have enough wind energy to power our whole country without much fossil fuel!

According to this cnn article he is certainly going down swinging . By the look on his face and in his gait as he has left the NATO , he is now carrying the weight of defeat. Let's hope he is man enough to cope with defeat as it appears to be sinking in.

cnnedition.cnn.com...

Trump's barrage of attacks 'beyond belief,' reeling NATO diplomats say

From the article

House Speaker Paul Ryan said that he subscribes "to the view that we should not be criticizing our president while he is overseas, but let me say a couple of things. NATO is indispensable." Among NATO defense officials, there were quiet questions about how long US Defense Secretary James Mattis -- a former Supreme Allied Commander of NATO and strong believer in alliances -- could stay on in Trump's administration. For the second year, Trump was throwing a tantrum at NATO and Mattis was having to clean up after him. Publicly, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg and European leaders pushed back against Trump's blistering attacks on Germany and other partner nations, as they attempted to downplay notions that the alliance may be fracturing.

So if the U.S. wants to stop beng financially abused by Europe this is a bad thing? Sorry the gravy train for the est of t work is being shut down. We don’t need friends that will onl be there if we pay them to be and allow ourselves to get taken advantage of by our “allies”.
