I only ask, because it very much reads as if they believe that one cannot be both of African descent, and an American. This is, of course, absolutely incorrect, because there are few things more quintessentially American than Samuel L. Jackson, and last I checked, he is not of European extraction.

Since Samuel L Jackson lives here I guess we can call him American but he hates it except for the huge paycheck he thinks this place sucks.

He doesn't think the place sucks, he thinks its rules do, and he is right to think that and has a right to think that. That he is correct about which rules suck and why, and other people, like Mike Pence for example, are INCORRECT about which rules suck and why, is beyond the point.
