if you think anyone in hollywood is doing anything but reading from a script and doing exactly what they are told 100% of the time then i got a bridge to sell you too.

Hollywoods job is to market satanism/materialism, that's it.

anyone that doesn't follow orders is given the bill Cosby treatment. Jim Carey doesn't have a political opinion, his handlers want YOU to have that opinion so they found a nice funny man to deliver it (download it) for you.

I have a suspicion that maybe the Truman show was instrumental in planting seeds with him

In the interview he says that both the Truman Show and Man in the Moon both caused him to question the truth of his own identity, but even with his other roles such as those in the Mask and Me, Myself and Irene influenced his current thoughts. From this, he traced it back to his childhood when he was living out of a car with his family.

Still a weird kind of genius, though. His interview on the Norm MacDonald podcast show was pretty entertaining.

Carey has always been deeply expressive. His early characters were not run of the mill but rather extremely wild characterazations of people on the edge of insanity. He seemed to find that edge in those early characters, and that is why he was so great.

But then when he was finally discovered, I mean when the big time came calling all he was offered were those belligerent role like Ace Ventura, over and over and over. That was the niche that the movie industry knew was bankable, and he took those rolls over and over again. Having come to the point now in his personal development I wonder if those early rolls are regretable to him, if he might not feel any guilt for making so much money for helping push belligerency, flippancy and arrogance a more prominent norm in society.

Some one earlier mentioned The Truman Show. I loved the movie and wondered at the time whether or not his ability to deeply experience his rolls might have an effect on his outlook on life. It may be so. Also, there was Liar Liar which also offered a more than casual inspection of the nature of lying and telling the truth and how much that distinction plays out in the business world. I think it would take a simpleton to not develop some level of juxtaposition between those rolls of fiction and reality itself.

I have always appreciated his talent and have stayed away from listening to his newly found ''insights''. For me, they are his, yet I think that him being one who is constantly having a microphone stuffed in his face must believe that it is his responsibility to ''share'' those insights. Just like many here, myself included are doing in this thread.

Should he find or discover humility in his search I bid him well. Should he not, I would warn us all that should he concoct a '' spiritual master'' mentality, one that he could pass of to the public as authentic, we should all be wary should he decide to run for POTUS. Because now a days it seems we are vulnerable to any celebrity that offers us what we think we are looking for.

I agree with your sentiment with the exception of one person, David Chappelle.
I just watched a show he had 20 years ago and was shocked how much still is relevant today.
He happens to be a comedian, but I think he is also a brilliant person in general.

I never meant they didn't have amazing talent. Jim Carey is hillarious in his delivery, Chappelle is likely the only person to one up Richard Pryor, I still use one of his punchlines to get by on my mistakes. "I didn't know I couldn't do that"

It's just that nothing they do or know makes them any more prolific in politics than me, you, or Fred Smith. (IMHO)

Duped - or has he found a state of peace?

Why would you stand in his way of his actualization?

Did you read anywhere that he is an actor by chance?

According to this, this is his viewpoint

He believes people become depressed because they’re trying to live up to their fake avatar and the more we can detach from the ego ,and even thought itself, the happier we’ll be.

You're coming unstuck again. You own threads show your hypocrisy.

You are now the Steppenwolf - changing his avatar - hoping newbies dont make the connection.

The Steppenwolf has alienated his sycophants.

wiki The Steppenswolf, Hermann Hesse.
The story in large part reflects a profound crisis in Hesse's spiritual world during the 1920s while memorably portraying the protagonist's split between his humanity and his wolf-like aggression and homelessness.[1]

The Consequence of Speech Part 1
www.abovetopsecret.com...

LesMisanthrope:
This dangerous belief (as half-witted as it is) is a roundabout way of blaming the victim for his own censorship, while leaving those who censored him out of the discussion altogether. It seeks to discredit the notion of free speech in minds already gravitating towards defending censorship.

If the speaker is heckled, fired or assassinated, it was the consequence of his speech, and not the consequence of intolerant bigots.

The Lost Art of The Troll - Part I
www.abovetopsecret.com...

What us true trolls must do is take back the art we once lost, and to shame the malicious pseudo-trolls who abuse it, while at the same time preserving the great doubt and healthy skepticism we employ on those who wished we would submit to their extremely dogmatic yet irrelevant ways.

Yeah we get that Hollywood can make or break careers.

anyone that doesn't follow orders is given the bill Cosby treatment.

I''m puzzled, women brought the charges against Cosby many years after his career ended. What orders was he not following in retirement that warranted "Hollywood going after him"

Hollywoods job is to market satanism/materialism

Can you tell me what in your view is Satanism and how they are marketing it.

Don't bother I'll help you: If you never saw a movie in your whole life, I could prove to you that you broke at least 1 clothing and 1 dietary law from Leviticus growing up. Therefore by default you are of Satan.

Don't know him personally, but I am happy for his success.

Same here. He's found his own peace and seems to be centred on positivity.

He's suffered the same fate every successful nobody has...probably worse than most.

no, see thats not how it works... the hollywood machine told those women they need to go after him. the women's handlers (agents or what haveyou) told them they need to do this to keep their career. which then spawned the metoo movement.. its pure social engineering

i don't know maybe them wanted him to do a new tv show to spread some propaganda and he declined. maybe he wouldn't let his kids join the hollywood sex cult to be famous.

Famous and rich people only get caught when they are allowed to get caught.

um yeah see the thing about that it jesus died for our sins therefor the rules from the old testament don't apply... the ultimate and pure sacrifice and all... that why christians don't do burnt offerings anymore... and even if they did still apply breaking them does not make anyone "of satan" thats pure ignorance. nobody it perfect, you only need to make an effort

Matthew 22:36-40
Master, which is the great commandment in the law?
Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
This is the first and great commandment.
And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.

i dont see anything about not eating shellfish in there...

So Hollywood created the movement to attack Hollywood by attacking a retired actor. Sounds very Machiavellian.
How could outing their own be in Hollywood's long term interests?

Bingo - the preaching begins. Here let me refresh you on Jesus words.

Matthew 5:18

earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished.
