Most of us are not. Nor are we oblivious to how little direct truthful information people in other countries have to base their opinions on. I don't think its a stretch of the imagination to say that more people outside the US are influenced by social media in regards to the POTUS than inside the US.

I see memes about other world leaders. That all lands in the "not my circus - not my monkeys" category. I don't have time to invest in proper due diligence regarding other world leaders when there is much to do in my own life and my own country. I suspect its not much different for many others. Besides, perception and fact are not always the same.
