Oh no. Now he has a PICTURE....

I decided to take a walk (5 am), and fiddle with the camera on my Note 8 this morning. Seems it has an ability I didn't know about- it *can* do somewhat low light pics, but with some grain. If I have a tripod and use a headphone with a volume control on a shutter, I can get nearly daylight looking pictures if I crank up ISO and aperture to max settings.

Anyways, I decided to take a picture of woods, an abandoned building foundation, and a odd looking cat (hard to see him in the pic). He just looked shocked I was taking pics, and walking by. Kinda looks like the internet cat Lil Bub. But he's not the main attraction.

No... what had my attention was (DUN DUN DUUUUN!) This.



My first thought was- well... that looks weird. I then zoomed the pic in, and I went to "What in the snippity snip snip?!" I then decided to try to pull all the detail I could, artifacts and all.



I think I win first prize for "most insane looking cloud". I brightened it, and did as much backlighting and HDRing as I dared. And no, I got no explanation, and I do know exactly what it looks like, but I want to hear input as to what it looks like, without skewing anyone's perception.

What is it that you think you are seeing here?

Interesting at first I was thinking some high altitude clouds but your fiddling with the picture it becomes more intriguing, the inner skeptic wonders if it could be the ccd showing due to trying to get the lowlight pictures. That being said I’m not positive of that just the only thing that comes to mind.

It sort of looks like an owl or an angel type look to it to my exhausted eyes.

I was fiddling with my phone last night, and found I can do *REALLY* low light shots. If I stick it on a tripod, with a remote shutter. If anything would show the CCD it'll be one of these shots:



I kinda like this one.


Neither has been retouched, both ISO and Aperture set to wide open.

Could be a very tall alien standing there with some kind of cloak field.. perhaps low on energy

I see a dragon face. Also kinda looks like the radioactive hazard sign.
