Police cars have a plane surrounded on the tarmac at JFK.
Police are unable to communicate with the crew.

Looks like it's over.

Twitter is saying Police have now boarded the plane. Radio silence from the pilots. If passengers are still on the plane videos should be coming out shortly.

First thing that went thru my head! Spoooky.

Electrical failure. Simple answer. Police response is standard when no one is talking on the radio and it's on the taxiway. They aren't going to take anyone's word until they board and check.

They both had the fish, someone inflate the autopilot.

UPDATE: The FAA says JetBlue 1623, an Airbus A320, experienced a radio equipment problem while taxiing for departure at John F. Kennedy International Airport tonight at 8 p.m. The crew requested to return to the ramp. The FAA will investigate.
