Yellowstone Lake Set Off the Seismo 24hrs Ago - And round the world.

I wonder if the ATS earthquake crew can weigh in on this one. It appears to have been large enough to be detected, all around the world.

Not sure yet, since I don't completely trust one source. I'm trying to cross reference the activity with other seismo graphs, but haven't seen anything yet like what the video has produced. Denying ignorance here.

The guy in the video does not understand signal propagation whatsoever.

Just about anything over M 5.5 will propagate across the entire globe.

How far can seismic waves reach?
Seismic waves are vibrations (i.e. waves of energy) generated by earthquakes. As the vibration propagates, it loses energy and ultimately fades away. The most powerful seismic waves, generated by the most powerful earthquakes, can go around the Earth for several days.

Surface waves generated by a powerful earthquake can travel several times around the world.

How far can seismic waves reach?

I want one.

Your facts are understandable, however if you watch his video it shows a 40 minute time-frame for the quake, in YS lake, that's what was interesting about the whole event.

It looks to me like the teleseism arrived around 13:23 local time and continued for a while. If you noted above, that is not uncommon for strong earthquakes.

Well, the earth does a change it's sun magnetic course in it it's trek around the sun on June 21st. I would think that all four of the cycles would tend to have an influence of the earth. I wonder if this happens around the twenty first of June every year, maybe nobody actually pays attention to it because it is normal.

Wondering why he didn't point out the two readings showing the whole graph reading as solid black black and not fading down. Anyone know anything about these?

Ok folks something is going on, and it's not just residual seismo from other areas. I think we need to keep an eye on this.
