So it's a bit odd. A manned aircraft went down in White Sands Missile Range. Holloman AFB put out the notice. This happened at 11:45 MT. The
oddity is they didn't specify WHAT type of aircraft. Also no info on the condition of the crew.
Given the time of day, it's unlikely to be a black aircraft, so calm down, ATS.
OA-X was scheduled to do a test this afternoon and next Friday between 1500-2400 over Alamogordo, which included flying over the city itself. That
was cancelled as soon as news broke of the crash. The crew almost certainly didn't get out. Crash time was 1149, it's now 1430 and they haven't
updated their condition. That usually means they didn't get out.
It could be a pretty big hit. They're probably going to have to stop the program until the investigation is completed, unless they can prove it
pretty quickly that it was pilot error or something along those lines.
