Artificial corneas will still require actual cornea donations, but they’ll be able to make each cornea donation go a lot farther. Instead of replacing one damaged cornea with a healthy one, scientists would be able to grow enough cells from one donated cornea to print 50 artificial ones.

Exciting stuff in the area of transplants.

It seems like soon enough we will have a way to mass produce organs.

Amazing that they can do this, but they can’t put a ziplock bag in a cereal box.

The news of the 3D printing of a human cornea is credible.

But your post was incredibly punny.

My exposure to Beavis and Butt-Head in the 1980's has me thinking about the lascivious meaning of using package and box in the same sentence.

I would still have rejected it .
Would need to be from my own cells .
ten years agaio I got a knife in my right eye and had a scar afterwards but could see ( Bug vision )
anyway they did the transplant BIG mistake rejected the cornea spent the next 9 months my eye slowly disingrating in my head Night of the living dead kind of thing .
Birth HU the worst is a few days of pain try giving birth for 9 months straight then we can talk what pain is .

Anyway they ended up taking out the eye so now lak one eye .

Good thing my other eye works ok ( not great but ok ) now have glaucoma as well so when the eye swells every thing not only goes out of focas and i get pain but a weird wavy effect and blind spots show up .
Luckly its easy to manage But slowly getting worse .
Now my good eye is getting bent all out of shape over it lol
