You have it sort of backwards. North Korea has been wanting a meeting with the POTUS for years. It's not like Trump had to go to him "on his knees" for this meeting.

I will say this...if this leads to peace and prosperity then it will affect more than just the US and North Korea. This will most certainly affect East Asia as a whole, and beyond perhaps. If this is the beginning of a lasting peaceful and prosperous situation, people will be talking about Trump and Kim for hundreds of years. No wonder the left is so manic right now.
