Do you plan to FORCE everyone to join a union? I hate joining groups and I don’t always agree with their decisions. Not everyone wants to be part of a collective.

As long as people can opt-out of joining a union then I have no problem with them, although i would shut my business downI before I allowed a union.

See Hostess for an example of union overreach.

If everybody refused to work for 7 days you'd be hungry, thirsty, and in the dark. Sounds great.

Unions did a great job of sending all of our manufacturing jobs overseas

Unfortunately they protect the workers they shouldn't as well as those they should. If that could be solved. . .

In my experience they harass and disgrace the workers during break (on camera) while trying to what might be called Armed Takeover the mom & pop company (bum rushing into the office with cameras shoving them into everyones faces at their desks etc). A lot of people wouldnt even believe how over the top they can be. Picketing all day by our cars with signs calling us "Federal Criminals" (in front of a middle school children everywhere) with a giant trailer mounted inflatable RAT sitting upright on giant pile of cheese smoking big fat cigar. I snip you not. All so the new entries have to go to jobs half way across the state (literally) or else sit on a bench waiting for local jobs only the seniority guys get.

A damn shame they are the way they are. World would be hell if they never existed. And its about to be if they dont. But the ones I've seen need to be eviscerated.

In that union handbook written by Jews.

So you don't think a day of rest is a good idea?

Many of those were examples of what can be done then hard fast what should be done.

Much of this is musing from when I worked factory jobs. I know longer do, my life is much improved and I know longer wish I was dead like I did slaving away in factory hell.

I had a union factory job and it was a nightmare, the non union manufacturing site for the same company had better benefits, more days off and paid better than the union shop

2 days off a year no pension 401k topped out at 21 an hour in 6 months that's it oh and 12 hour shifts

I'm currently a union member. I appreciate everything they do for worker's rights, except protecting the inept. As the majority of my career has been non union, I have seen management protect the inept as they can, as well.
So, as much as I am favor for unions and no unions. I mostly favor that management gets hit due to issues in the work place.

How about standing together for something useful?

Like the income tax and property tax scam.

Or should we keep getting played with tranny bathrooms and gun rights our whole lives so our children are real slaves?

Employment? What's your choice employee, or employer?

My neighbor makes over 100k a year and rising mowing lawns. Baked and drunk guy.

When you were in school, did you get good grades?

Did you ever feel bad for the kids who didn't? Did you ever feel like you cheated them out of something?

Why aren't you demanding every kid in the nation stand in solidarity with the kids who can't or won't earn good grades so that no teacher has a child to grade?

Isn't that already called "Common Core"?

There have been only a handful of examples in human history "if everyone did it".

Five thousand years ago everyone was all about, "Muh Pharaoh" and building pyramids.

We haven't changed.

That was some serious job security in them pyramids.

Died on the job!

lol.

I do. I think a lot of ideas in that book are good ideas. Especially the ones that Jewish socialist came up with. Personally, I'm a big fan. I just don't think his readership really absorbed it the way he intended.

Kind of like The Matrix... most people who dig it has no idea what that movie is really about.

I work consistently over my contract hours. I don't mind.

If people don't want to work long hours then they need to change employer, or work to rule. No problem with that either.

Everybody would not get paid.

Everybody would not be able to eat nor afford to pay rent/mortgage.

Just because everybody does something does not mean "They" have to comply im afraid.

You don't, the fact of the matter the unions used your collective value to bargain for themselves. They now hold more value than the workers, they just pay politicians for the best job contracts for the company, in return they company tends to have more money for wages. Ironically enough it is in effect bid rigging trickle down economics.

The middleman always gets paid, generally from behind the fence, but paid no less.
