Trump suspects something odd about a question from a reporter at the G7 conferences.

He asks the reporter who he works for.

Wouldn't ya know it.....CNN !!

Trump was in no mood for their crap apparently.

😃

Trump Dismisses 'Fake News CNN' Reporter's Question During G7 Summit Briefing

President Trump dismissed a question from a CNN reporter after learning of his employer during a press briefing on the G7 Summit in Charlevoix, Canada.

The reporter said that there was a sense that the president and some of America's allies were angry and frustrated with one another.

He asked Trump if he believed the U.S. alliance system was shifting under his leadership, after which the president asked what news outlet he was with.

"Who are you with, out of curiosity?" Trump asked the reporter.

"CNN," the reporter replied.

The president smirked and said, "I figured. Fake news CNN. The worst."

Good in sick to death of the media.

Keep attacking them these liars and propagandist deserve it.

Everyone here hated the media until billions of dollars were dumped in into paid internet trolls and Google bag in cohersively regilating everyones content through its acceptable use policy

You say this like it's a good thing he's using his own triggered sensibilities to justify ignoring questions.

Next he'll blame his bone spurs for dodging inquiry.

Speaking of triggered, you just defined it.

Nothing wrong with calling a BS'er a BS'er.

Unless you're a liberal, I guess... then it's just par for the course.

Well, it's a good question.

Are alliances shifting?

Dismissing the question because it's CNN seems to be deflection.

Is Trump going to dismiss Fox News journalists' questions next since they were caught with fake news? Why don't he just go right ahead and ban all journalists all together so he won't look like an hypocrite?

That's Trump's game and his supporters learned how to deflect from him.

I see this like the media questioning if trump hits his wife...these questions are not real, they are meant to sow discord and mistrust.

I am glad he calls them out.

I think he just gets a kick out of making them irrelevant. They really didn't need any help in that respect, given their obvious biased, anti Trump agenda.

Come to think of it, I get a kick out of it too. They deserve what they are getting. Hiding behind "freedom of the press", does not mean you are above reproach.

Go see which one of these alleged shifting alliances has actually pulled their boots off the ground in Syria or their air from the sky, none of them. The real guage of alliances is where the soldiers are committed to. Yammering on about trade is basic politics. The leaders have to appear outraged, the truth is no doodoo's are given by either side. It's All a play anyways, with a script at that.

"There is a sense" or "there seems to be a feeling" ranks right up there with "unnamed sources".

I remember here on ATS when almost everyone hated all MSM. MSM should have been banned here as a source long ago.

Just read the rest of the article and it seems that the headline is misleading. He did answer his question.

The media is asking these questions for a few reasons. Apparently, the statements made by foreign leaders contradict his comments about relationships being good and the success of the summit.

Also, I guess Trump decided to show up late and leave early from the summit.

So I think it was a relevant question.

Ok. So what does that have to do with the question being dismissed?

If the answer is that simple, which it is not, why wouldn't Trump just answer it or move on?

I'd say his reaction fits the definition of "dismiss".
