Close up you can see the muscle ripple under the flesh.
The look in their eyes. That desire to just run.

And Seattle slew had a turned out right front foot but it didn't stop him from developing a strong running style.
But...He was an ugly horse. Unfortunately.
He never sired a triple crown winner but his son Swale was a steaks winner.
This new guy is a real beauty. Chestnut (though I say bay), with a pale face.
Like Secretariat AKA big red. A very pretty bay.

After his mudding victories I wasn't sure he could do it, I stand corrected.

He didn't destroy the competition but the jockey ran a perfectly controlled race kudos all around.
