It was reported “Bourdain hanged himself...”

If it is ‘because’ of a lover, I wish he would’ve remembered a more important woman in his life: his 11-yr old daughter. She’ll never ‘get over it’. No reported note.

I am sad about anyone ending their own life. It's not a joke. Has ATS been relegated to smart-ass teenagers with no life experience? Throwing down their judgement on people who have actually lived, loved, lost, and began to live again? If it is then I'm out of here! Have some compassion!

Just three hours before Bourdain was found dead,
Argento shared a photo on her Instagram story that showed her wearing a shirt that read
“F--- EVERYONE.”
“You know who you are,”
she captioned the post, according to People.
She has since deleted the Instagram story.

Then again, perhaps it was someone else she was responding to that might of been stirring the emotional pot in Bourdain's life.

This is sad news.
I didn't watch his shows a lot, but some of them I did a few times because they were so interesting in many ways.
In particular his Iran episode.


Some of his shows were REALLY good.
I never could understand how people who have so much going for them can think so lowly of themselves and their situation to find death an acceptable answer to their problems.

Another sad suicide.
There have been too many.
