Assuming the dead exist, they certainly don't have the same bodies as us. So for us to "other" them as "dead" is racist.

If anything, I'd refer to them as the "mortally challenged".
For example: "If the existing non-mortally challenged spoke more to the previously existing mortally challenged via EVP, the world would be a better place!"
