People distain capitalism because they live capitalism and it’s short commmings are all to appearant in their daily lives.

The logical fallacy is in pretending ANYONE wants a system that is 100% socialism or 100% capitalism..

Both , except in small tribal groups go badly.

Anchient Rome is a good example of capitalism gone amok as private armies turned against the state.

The real truth is we decide what sectors of society work best “for profit” and which work better publicly funded..

Good Question.
I liked the fact that he has brought
some light to these flawed Utopian Ideologies.

In every instance the dissenters are smothered,
imprisoned, killed, or mysteriously vanish in the
night.
The lucky ones were sent to reeducation camps.
The unlucky, The Gulag.

That is 'Authoritarianism' not Marxism.

Capitalism is not exactly working really well for the people of the United States lately. Wealth inequality is at all time highs. Wages are falling against inflation. The problem with all the outsourcing to China is now nobody has enough purchasing power to the buy the high price products being imported. The old demand supporting prices no longer exists. But the CEOs are too greedy to lower prices.

The Marxists have some pretty sharp criticisms of capitalism which no longer seems to be working very well:

Bernie Sanders sure had a lot of people showing up at his rallies. I think socialism will return along with FDR level tax rates.

Grampaw just "created" his anti-thesis so he had something to complain about.

Marxism IS authoritarian.

There's no other way to enforce it.

More OP fear monger. Catch up and watch your own government.
Both of you are wrong!

Nazism was an occult disguised as socialism created by Hitler.
Just as North Korea is Imperialism disguise as Communism.
USA is a semi fascist-corporatism disguise as capitalism.
China is now a hybrid of capitalism and communism.
When Stalin took over Soviet Union it was more a military dictatorship just like what US is turning into except the fact US follows corporate military machine therefore it is corporatism.
Lenin ism and Stalinism is dead because it had failed.
British Empire is still alive due to Royal family just as Japan Imperialism can come back due to Emperor of Japan still alive.

Probably not pointed out because the Nazi's weren't actually socialists. In name only.
Did the working class own the means of production? You know... the main bullet point of socialism?
Is North Korea a Democratic People's Republic? Also in name only.

I'm going to guess that your definitions of all the 'isms' isn't correct but just right wing fear-mongering rhetoric.

Have the working class EVER REALLY owned the means of production. I mean, theres countries where the government is in charge of businesses but its never really a buch of working class people getting together in a hundred town halls annually to decide on the direction of the business and benefiting from it.

I'm not eager to be lynched by the true believers here. If you are able to rise above your self interests and look objectively, you will see National Socialism was a form of socialism. I personally believe people are happiest with a free economy with a socialist style safety net.

I saw a video on You Tube that convinced me of this. It went over the services provided by the Nazis, etc. The country was, however, nationalist. It was disengaged from the global banking and political systems of world communism.

The speaker had a conspiracy theory that sounded insane to me. That's why I don't post it. He believed Adolph Hitler was the illegitimate son of Lord Rothschild and started Nazism to act as a kind of buffer state between international communism and the west. However, on that one point of Nazism being socialist, he convinced me.

It was the Prussians under Bismarck who in many ways developed what we call the modern state. They had old age and pensions for soldiers, aid to widowed mothers, mandatory state education (a model closely studied by the US) - many of the social programs which have been universally adopted in the West.

Germany could not afford those programs after WW1 due to the Versailles treaty. Once the economy began to rebound during the 1930's they were able to offer those programs along with vacations for workers. It was hailed as the economic miracle as the US still languished under FDR and his new deal policies.

Yes, when America really was great, and people had freedom an rights and weren't slaves, was when we had a balance of government and private sector. Now we are almost fully controlled by corporations under the guise of capitalism, but it's just slavery dressed up.

People have been against Capitalism since the invention of Capitalism and the domestication of the unique and individual, it is not this new "progressive" and "liberal stance". the problem is the rightists have no nuanced critique and can only respond with pejoratives aimed at the "left" which are usually filled with falsities and ignorant statements

All economic and social platforms can be considered "authoritarian" (including Capitalism) since they all require force to maintain and implement

The Nazi party was born from Marxism - they are both left-wing socialist ideologies.

Well I think that The Secretary of Education needs
to have a good look at what is going on over at
McGraw Hill and Prentice Hall.
As far as the good old JFK, I am referring to
the "Lets put a man on the moon, uncover secret society"
type insinuation of moral high ground.
Thanks for the reply.

When the State becomes "God",
any dissent is treated in an authoritarian
manner.
Marxism leads to Authoritarianism.

Any form of government is subject to
corruption and rigging of the system.
Once this occurs it is Bad JuJu for the
average citizen.
The danger I see is that there are those
who instead of correcting the flaws that have
crept into a free society, would rather go
full blown Communist/Marxist foolishly
believing that this ideology is a perfect
solution.
Only those who have had these subjects scrubbed
from their educational curriculum would believe
such nonsense.

Marxism is being promoted because it is a powerful
Control System. The globalist drool over China's power.

Look,
all I am stating is that "The Holocaust" is
taught in school. But there appears to be
an educational blackout on the horrors
of Marxism/Stalinism/Maoism, etc.

Clearly therein lies the agenda.
