And the added bonus of a 12 string.

Brilliant, bloody brilliant.

I don't know dude. This just seems like run of the mill guitar playing to me (as a guitar player). And certainly not fast (even just compared to an average flamenco guitar player). James is still a band? They going on a world comeback tour with Inspiral Carpets?

Well i liked it anyway.

Yes, James are still touring and recording new material. Here's a nice short concert they did in Paris a couple years ago.

Yeah, as far as I could see the 12-string guy was just playing rhythm, the lead work was done by the dude on the Jazzmaster (6 string). Nice tune but face melting guitar? no.

I'v found some pretty cool music with OP's like yours. Always expanding my horizons.

It's a good song. Wasn't it featured in the opening of an X-Files? "D.P.O" - Season 3 IIRC.

I'm not here to cut you down but most of the guitar work was rhythmic. Even the "lead", and even toward the end of the performance when the music became freer, more dynamic. I'm not a shining light of guitar playing but I can play kinda "fast". Thing is, fast isn't really that good, other than being somewhat technically impressive. I play lots of bluegrass, which is up-tempo music, but even then, just "fast" in absence of compelling or idiomatic musical content or a proper blend/groove with other instruments is lame.

Thanks for sharing.

Nice, I liked the accelerando at the end but I have heard way faster.

We used to do the same thing with a cover of "Total Control", starting slow and finishing at a crazy pace. Really got the crowd going, but they usually stopped dancing before we hit our fastest.

Wow, Sorry fella, but this would be classed as "middle of the road" Soft Rock.

That nondescript, folksy, plain music that appeals to some people.

Never heard of this dude or group, they seem mildly interested in what they are doing, so that's a positive.

Seem to have an audience, good for them.

I could post some videos of "Out of this World Speed Guitar playing", but I dont think you would get it.

All 70s stuff........

Ah, I just heard him mention "God", so I guess this is some Christian Revival group??.....hence the real excited audience.
