The words trump has been fearing since the beginning.
The election was illegitimate.
I'm not saying it. Yet...
But that is the results trump fears. That the election was illegitimate.

Says the party that lost......
Ever heard of the phrase "sour grapes"?

Uh, like I said in my OP, if this were trump you people would be screaming bloody murder. There is a good chance the election is not legitamt

As soon as Hillary paid off the DNC to drop Bernie it became illegitimate..... at least if you’re a dem.

Besides show me how Russia influenced me. I have no social media.

And here is what he said in December, after the election had taken place and the counting had been finished:

“What I was concerned about in particular was making sure [the DNC hack] wasn't compounded by potential hacking that could hamper vote counting, affect the actual election process itself,” the president said at his end-of-year press conference. “So in early September when I saw president Putin in China, I felt that the most effective way to ensure that that didn't happen was to talk to him directly and tell him to cut it out and there were going to be serious consequences if he didn't. And in fact we did not see further tampering of the election process.
emphasis mine

Obama says he told Putin to ‘cut it out’ on Russia hacking

But then I guess he could've been wrong? or is that racist to suggest?

Man, just finished reading the thread.

OP gonna need some cream for that serious burn, not even the usual leftist showed up for defence, only the habitual far-left users who spread disinfo and prop, per deflection standard.

Thread is an eye opener into the convoluted mind of the typical leftist. This particular one is young an naive, not much experienced and still blue in the arse. Take it easy on him folks, he hasn't returned 🤭

In a nutshell, people voted for Trump because they are stupid and swayed by Russians and could not see the brilliance and wonder that is Hillary Clinton.

Got it.

One wonders if Clinton supporters ever read their comments and pause to reflect on how much impact their own attitudes and opinions might have had on how others voted.

My tree-hugging, granola eating, lovely wife of more than 30 years finally broke with the left in this last cycle precisely for this reason.

At some point, some people decide to get off the crazy bus.

Thanks J&C!

I believe she said it in another thread as well if I remember correctly.

There are a good majority of us old-school Progressive Liberals that have made that change over the years
Glad to see someone else abandoning the total lunacy that a once great movement has become.
1) Civil Rights
2) Pollution regulated
3) An end to the Vietnam War

All while appreciating this country and what it stands for
Not that way anymore.

Jesus H Christ
Using your vast knowledge, maybe you can explain how the election could possibly be illegitimate?
WITH REAL FACTS!!!.....Not some Leftist fantasyland fairy tales.
The election was certified by the FEC within a month of Trump winning.

That is the good thing about this country
Anyone can say anything as long as it does not endanger or slander someone else
Although , they just cant talk the talk , they have to walk the walk to make it seem like a fact
Talk is cheap . Takes real money to buy land
Clapper is cheap...nothing of substance to back it up
Standard party propaganda

You're spot on. I tried to debate the premise of the OP on the first page, with a counter argument which made much more sense. And then repeated it somewhere around page 5 to try to bring the thread back on topic. But you're right - those with left leanings just wanted to wander off into the usual slanging match about 'but muh Russia / Mueller / hacking / Trump is a liar...'

Hard to have a proper robust discussion when they keep abandoning their own OP topics within the first 5 minutes. Sometimes I feel sorry for them when their echo chamber fails to show up.

Well, you've obviously ignored my direct query on page 5. Here's another question...

Which do you think genuinely swayed more voters:

A) Russian Facebook posts; or

B) Hillary's arrogance in inferring that people who didn't support her were a basket of deplorables?

I know which I believe would actually sway more voters. Even if Russia did spend millions on pithy Facebook comments, Hillary just rode roughshod over the top of their effort with that one comment.

People are smart enough to know that ads and posts are the generic work of an anonymous company, but a direct comment from the horse's mouth is pretty powerful...

First off, Clapper is a proven liar, leaker to hurt trump, and msm media ant trump shill.

Secondly, your claim that had russian trolls posted stuff against trump, trump people would have flipped out.

Newsflash; these trolls did post things that would be used against trump. Such as pro BLM and LGBT issues that were the used to attack trump.

Or how about hosting an anti trump rally that many attended?

I can tell you with 1000% certainty that had trump lost, I would not have blamed these few russian trolls AT ALL!

I would have first looked at the MSM, which was more influential by staggering amounts than $150 tghousand dollars in facebook ads, and their OVERWHELMING favortism of Hillary clinton.

I find it hilarious that you all can act like that was no big deal, but a couple of facebook trolls using pokemon stole the election from Hillary

Their agenda was to create chaos in our elections, and I guess they did.

Is there really that many dumb conservatives or is just on ats? If you can't see that tRump a.k.a. republican draft dodger in chief, knows by now that he is not intelligent for the job of president, then you need to explain to me what I'm missing. He cannot hold a press conference and answer intelligently any questions without blaming Hillary or Obama, hell he won't even hold a press conference. He wants to build a 2000 mile wall, something out of 17 th century China, for the 21th century. He wants the f.b.i. and d.o.j. to investigate a supposed spy in his campaign, the very people he calls corrupt. He thinks morality is having his lawyer pay of a porn star before anyone else finds out about it. He pretends to be hard on immigration, yet his golf courses have applied for visas for migrant workers, claiming they can't find workers in the U.S. He thinks ethical behavior is making fun of a handicap reporter.

Oh and by the way he cancelled the summit with UN. Probably afraid it would damage his fragile ego if things did not go his way.

How did these evil Russkies influence someone like myself who doesn't do social media?? I've no use for it. ATS is as close as it gets...

...and I didn't vote for either of 'em. So explain me, to me...I'm easily confused.

The sad thing is that we need people who think and believe differently and who champion different points of view, but when it gets so poisonous that it becomes clear that we've stepped beyond that "I disagree" point and into the I openly hate and despise you for simply thinking differently, then it becomes hard to ever think about wanting to join up with that person.

You have to confront me with something awfully bad to think I need to team up with an enemy that poisonous.

It's sort of like that story with the scorpion and the frog.
