Personally, I found his style a little bit boring, but he did a good job by writing "great literature".
A shame he did never get the Nobel Prize for his works.
Please do not ignore/vilify him or his death just because he called Trump a 'Fraud, The Evil Sum Of His Deficiencies'

Ah, thank you for posting this here, as it's the first I'd heard. I'm actually in the midst of reading The Human Stain (among other books) now and am
amazed at its relevence to today's climate.
