Say what? Even if that made sense, I don't hold with numerology. Or most of the other ologies for that matter including astrology. They believed in a lot of superstitions back then. Today, we have our own ologies like psychology and sociology which are 90% bull####.

heh your thoughts are really hard to put together but I think I know what you're referring to - the "miracle of Bible", where a number of words used divided by this gives Pi and the number of this added to this equals days in a year and stuff like that... am I correct?

This is a very interesting phenomenon, but it is not exclusive to the Bible. Here is a link that covers such mathematical oddities or rather 'perfections' as the faithful believe. Only these ones are in the Quran, and they are indeed strange.

Now, there are some other links that deconstruct these claims and invalidate them, and they do the same with the Bible as well. However, I don't think you'll be interested in those -- only in the mathematical miracles in religious texts.

I believe that if you take any book that is as large as the Bible or the Quran and looked for repetitions, or if you created computer algorithms to look for oddities, you would find them. Therefore belief that these are miracles in these books requires faith, the same as it requires faith to believe in God -- but then again they are connected, as the claim is that God wrote the books and put the mathematical oddities in there as proof of his existence.

caught me....in college...I was too creative to make an A on any composition paper, and the prof would steer my writing, but i would churn a paper out only to have tell me i did it opposite of what she was trying to convey.

i clobbered math and grammer and even conjugation in Latin....even made one of only two perfect english freshman entrance tests at SWTSU in San Marcos....but

Please do not take my attempted humor at your expense as insulting, I think you can have laugh because you have replied once to me indicating you know how you post and that its interpreted as very scattered at times.

The OP just seemed that way and when Akragon replied it was an instant lightbulb moment to post that video to answer the link question they asked.
