Leaders of the Senate Intelligence Committee said Wednesday that they agree with the intelligence community’s assessment that Russia interfered in the 2016 presidential election and sought to help President Trump win the White House.
“We see no reason to dispute the conclusions,” Chairman Richard Burr (R-N.C.) said in a statement.
“There is no doubt that Russia undertook an unprecedented effort to interfere with our 2016 elections.”.
WASHINGTON — The Senate Intelligence Committee — in a major split with its House counterpart — said Wednesday that it agrees with U.S. intelligence agencies' assessment that the Russian government was trying to help Donald Trump and hurt Hillary Clinton by meddling in the 2016 election.
That bipartisan conclusion was announced by Chairman Richard Burr, R-N.C., and Vice Chairman Mark Warner, D-Va., in a statement after a closed hearing with former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper, former CIA Director John Brennan, and former National Security Agency Director Mike Rogers.

Give it up. Russia did not make me vote for Trump. I did not need some Facebook shill to tell me Hillary was the absolute last person on Earth who should be elected president.

Again thats not quite what is being said, what is being said is that the Russians actively interfered with the election to secure victory for Trump.
Now if that interference cause you to personally vote for trump or not does not matter, that is specific to you and you alone.

Whats being said is that the Senate intelligence committee has said that in their view, the Russian state deliberately interfered with the 2016 election with the goal of securing victory for Trump.
What so the brits, Aussies and Mexicans went out hacking into the DNC, using bots and creating fake news with the purpose of getting Hilary elected at a state level....mmmm

Former FBI Director James Comey was invited but did not show up -- skipping the closed-door session due to a “previously scheduled engagement,” his attorney said. Comey, who was fired last May, has been on a media blitz in recent weeks promoting his memoir, “A Higher Loyalty,” in which he is highly critical of now-President Trump.
