Looking forward to the movie though.

My personal memory of when Freddie died, I think it was back in 1991.

I only had two Queen records by then (I probably still haven't heard everything).

I was quite a Christian fundamentalist at that point, and going to church, and instead of an elegy this preacher says: "Everybody's talking about Freddie Mercury! You want to know where Freddie Mercury is now? Like all homosexuals, he's burning in hell".

I thought to myself, don't make a scene now, but when I walk out here today, that's the last time your religion sees me.

I mean the shear viciousness with how he said it.
And I knew, this is not from God.

They were on their third gold album, and living off their girlfriends.

Oh yes!!! My BF is a huge Queen fan and will be here in November. I already told him it is on our list of things for a date night. Wow we actually get to go to a movie! That will be a first. Our movie nights now consist of Whatsapp chat and video while we both watch it at the same time.

I can't wait to see this!

I had to chuckle at the price of the ticket. I remember when concerts were cheap. I saw Queen many years ago too and they were awesome! The showmanship, vocals and musicianship were just amazing!
