We are going to have a boy! Everything looks good, finally got a picture of the little guy's face and he was smirking this one is going to be trouble.

Woohoo... first kid is a son... now I am feeling nervous.

Anyways, I know a few people had asked so there it is... still pissed the USAF is making us move home early nothing like the stress of a move on top of her being pregnant for the first time.

Congrats.

You should have an 'ATS picks the name' contest. My submission is Bigfoot Mandela.

Why would they want to name it partially after a convicted terrorist?

Congratulations on the kid. Hope it is healthy and does not turn into a pain when it becomes a teenager.

Too many ultrasounds in the first trimester is not good, that has been proven but doctors still do it making excuses that they are needed. Just want to inform you about that.

1 time a month unless something goes wrong is as often as the German's do it.

Just glad I was there for this one, heard the heart beat for the first time, measurements were all good... his head is the size of a 24 week old.

I already apologized to the wife, I have a 7 5/8 hat size I am really hoping he doesn't get my melon, for his sake and the wifes sake.

Congratulations!
We didn't want to know boy or girl when my wife was pregnant, we liked the surprise, I still remember shouting 'he's a boy!' like an excited child.
Best gift in my life, I wish you happy times being a dad

Congratulations to you!!

Being a Dad is the greatest thing I ever did with my life. Got started pretty late too, but I was retired for most of my girls childhood and got to be with them during a lot of special times and milestones

Congrats, I'm retired from the USAF but my wife refused to get pregnant overseas in Germany. We we're at Ramstein AB at the time with the old Landstuhl hospital which was really old by the 1970s. My best,

Took the wife to the ob yesterday, blood pressure was high so they decided to induce.

Got to the birthing suite at noon, just got the epidural in and I Hate feeling this helpless.

But at least it's helping her doze now, people keep telling me to nap,I can't she's hurting sleep isn't possible for me when she's in pain.

Hope things go well but I'm confused because every female friend who has had an epidural tells me it doesn't hurt, which explains why they chose it.
Mother of my child did it with only gas and air, you wanna see that for 8 hours then realise what pain is...I bow down to her in respect forever!

Best wishes for mother and child though, welcome to the world little one.

It's more me, she doesn't feel much beyond the pressure of a contraction. But till that point I saw her cry twice... Haven't seen her cry except for the death of a pet in the 12 years we've been together.

So I will be a wreck till it's done, and we are 24 hours in at this point.
