Come on wipe away the tears and answer me.
you guys are really touchy today, I must’ve poked a nerve.

I'm touchy everyday...
Well, we could’ve had a nice conversation,

Explaining that molecules are inanimate?
That's your answer? Everyone knows that.
It does nothing to explain your thinking
against the only observable evidence that
life only comes from life. Did you just
abandon the scientific method? Why not
just say life doesn't come only from
life because fire engines? Quit dodging the
question?

I think you are here to play games, I gave you plenty of opportunities to have a solid conversation and you spent the entire day slinging insults and apparently lying about who and what you are, and I don’t think your responses would be genuine and or mature enough to give you any more time in this day.

I think I'll abandon this thread. It's too emotional. How about some self control.

How about adressing my claim that if you claim you worship nothing you are claiming to be sovereign.
Only a souvereign being, of which there is only one, God, does not worship anything.
The word says itself "souvereign".

But, easy as it is as an atheist, there is no need to explain souvereign, it's not in the dictionary cause nothing like that exists, so they claim.

I see I'm wasting my time, really.

no, you're wasting everyone else's time by utilizing a ridiculous strawman argument to denigrate and pass judegement on others so that you can feel special.

Well without empirical and verifiable evidence that claim can be safely ignored.

Aahhaahhaaa. It turns out, you are just a really bad musician. Good luck with that eighth album. Are all of your songs about atheists?

Perhaps the most useful point in debates like this is to realize that:

Men create gods in their own image.

There are several types of god. A group of people strongly focussing on a mental image create a psychic entity in accord with their desires. When this continues over decades and centuries involving thousands of people, the resulting entity not only becomes very powerful, but literally takes on a life of its own. These are the gods of religions, and contrary to popular belief, there is not just one Allah or Jehovah or Beelzebub, but as many as there are congrgations worshipping them.

There are also "real" gods with a small "g" that, for the most part, are entities that either have never undertaken human incarnation, or have abandoned it in favour of being worshipped. The act of worship directs psychic energy to the object of worship, and this is effectively food in the psychic realm. These entities can therefore sustain themselves from the "food" provided by their worshippers.

Other "real" gods with a small "g" are higher-level beings that can draw energy from their own psychic organs, but these are part of a non-human evolutionary process.

As to Gods with a capital "G", they are figments of religious fervour that find manifestation in the many gods with a small "g" who represent them.

It's a funny place, the psychic realm.

While I don't consider Atheism to be a religion and therefore nothing to worship, I do believe it is a faith. It requires faith to believe that there is nothing in an entire multiverse that transcends our comprehension and could have played a role in 'programming' the 'source code' of our fundamental universal laws.

Does it take faith to not believe in dragons? Or is it a reasonable position that dragons don’t exist

Dragons exist in Skyrim though.

And I would LOVE to see you argue with a Nord about that!

If someone believes in dragons and that gets them through the day and they don't force others to believe in dragons, then what's the problem?
