Pompeo returning from North Korea with 3 American detainees, Trump says

"They seem to be in good health. Also, good meeting with Kim Jong Un. Date & Place set," Mr. Trump added in his tweet.

That is great that they are on the way to the USA.

In a written statement, the White House said "President Trump appreciates leader Kim Jong Un's action to release these American citizens, and views this as a positive gesture of goodwill. The three Americans appear to be in good condition and were all able to walk on the plane without assistance."

It's called his Chief of Staff told him to lay off the twittering about the rocket kid and allow some negotiations to start. Had Trump kept on twitter-ranting this would have never happened. I've said it before, Kim just wants to be recognized as the leader of a country and feel good about himself on an international level. Once that happened...oooh guess what? We get some hostages back.
