Not bad for an administration that is constantly being thrown under the bus for one thing or another. Trump's administration has been accused of obstruction and colluding with Russia. President Trump has been in the news because of his fling with a porn drama queen and is also being accused of using campaign money to silence her. With all this playing out in the media, a recent poll by CNN, shows that 57% of Americans think the country is doing well. In February of this year, only 25% of Americans thought the country was doing well. I think this proves that the country thinks Trump's administration is doing what it promised...to improve "issues of the economy, foreign trade, immigration and foreign affairs." I also believe Trump's handling of "Rocket Man" Kim Jung-un, and the ensuing peace talks between North and South Korea, has contributed to the country's approval rating. The Democrats were really confident about retaking Congress in the upcoming midterm elections. I think the vast majority of Americans aren't concerned with Meuller's investigation, or the ongoing drama involving a "starlet", milking her 15 minutes of fame. This fact alone, might add a few speed bumps on the Democrat's midterm election hopes.

When Americans were asked if the country is doing well, 57 percent said that it was, which is the highest proportion to say so since 2007, including every year of Obama’s two terms.

That’s also an increase since February, when nearly half of Americans said the country was doing well (49 percent).

Some of the improvement in this rating could be from Democrats – only 25 percent of which said the country was doing well in February. That percentage has increased to a stunning 40 percent.

On the issues of the economy, foreign trade, immigration and foreign affairs, approval for Trump has risen by an average of four points.

Ego is the problem.

When you are heavily vested in an ideology it becomes part of your self identity. The ego is a staunch defender of self identity.

This defense often manifests as cognitive dissonance.

#Resist is vested in that identity. So that segment of society will continue doing what it does.

Its only 10% some odd of the population....but in campaigns where only 70 mil show up...that is quite a large and motivated voting bloc.

Russian bots must have hacked CNN!

Quick, let's just poll the freshman class at Berkeley. That'll tell us what we want to hear!

I would say that a better judge is how many are actually doing better.

I know we are - not by a huge amount, but enough to make a difference over where we idled for a long time. If you are personally doing better, then it's easier to believe others around you are too.

If you feel like you're constantly treading water, then you tend to project that onto the world.

Yeah, but if a majority are doing better, if only by a little, that still means that the country is doing better.

The Forrest for the trees analogy.

No, but a left leaning outlet that typically has polls heavily biased in favor of the left is very odd to be found pro Trump when they go out of their way to poll people who don't like Trump.

And in the latest news, CNN declares that it's own poll is an outlier and should be disregarded. Now let's move on to our interview with Stormy Daniels live on location at her latest venue Tony's Boob and Waffle.

It's still a poll. Doesn't matter how hard you try and make it more. It's worse it's a TV POLL.

How many people were polled? It could be 100... and 57 of them said they were doing better. A good representation they say is like 10,000 to get a more accurate account. So how many?
What did the polls say pre election? Where they wrong then and right now it suits you?

CNN poll. pfft.

If they say 57% then the number is probably 87%.

The CNN polls were heavily liberal leaning and biased and wrong. I am not sure what you don't understand about a poll that is always wrong with a liberal bias showing support for Trump is very odd. Usually whatever number they have that supports Trump is far lower than the actual truth. So no, I do not find this accurate, I think if CNN says it's 57% then it's likely higher in actuality.

The pre-election poll I relied upon to give me an indicator of who was doing better was not wrong, it was right. I chose that poll because of it's history of accuracy, rather than it giving me good feelings like liberals did.

Wanna see this % go up?? have him clean his house of Nazi influence, like booting Jr Goebbels from his team, really come out and say in Trump fashion fk those guys for real and act on it, get rid of his anti science anti environment bias , who knows he may even win me over...I'm not at all interested in his sexcapades , and as far as collusion goes I have no problem waiting for Muller's final results.

CNN is trying their level best to keep Americans from seeing how this country is getting better/stronger all the time.

Last night, they kept the lid on how serious the New York Attorney General's crimes are, by saying Schneiderman allegedly EMOTIONALLY abused some women. (This was Don Lemon and his panel)

I'll make a call, see what I can do.

I, like the majority of people on the planet, care about what affects me and my family.

Period.

If things are going well for me and my family, then I am happy.

So far, the only thing Trump has done is lower my taxes.

Really. That is it.

He hasn't made me pay into Obamacare, he hasn't pushed legislation to remove my guns, he hasn't signed anything that would raise my taxes, I still have the right to free expression.

So what's not to like? His hair? His twitter?

Sounds to me that he's doing okay on foreign policy also.

*shrugs*

If you want to hate the man, go for it. Scream loud and proud.

I'll just walk around you on my way to the bar and shake my head.

Then why did they release this poll?

Last night, they kept the lid on how serious the New York Attorney General's crimes are, by saying Schneiderman allegedly EMOTIONALLY abused some women. (This was Don Lemon and his panel)

They do not know how serious his "crimes" are. They only know how serious the allegations are.

The media cannot throw around accusations and unproven conspiracy theories as easily as people do anonymously on the internet. They can be held liable for what they say.

If you were held to a similar standard, you would be much more cautious about the nonsense you peddle.

Can anyone say "Q"?
