If you could pass six federal laws what would they be

Please give this some thought. I want to see what other people think would be the best bang for the buck in getting this country back on track or MORE on track. Or you can say nothing if you think everything is just peachy as it is now.

Here are my three.

1. Give China one year to stop pegging the Yuan to the dollar or we will put a 1% tariff on every container coming into this country from China. And increase 1% every year after that until China stop unfair trade practice with currency fixing. This would bring back factory jobs over time.

2. Socialize healthcare administration but leave hospitals and doctors privatized. The problem is the people who own the hospitals own the healthcare companies which forces prices to never stop going up (in my opinion).

3. Cap military spending as a percentage of non-military GDP. Our military should have no incentive for carrying out a false flag operation to increase military spending.

4. Make abortion illegal in exchange for allowing the morning-after pill to be sold over the counter with all the other non-prescription medicines.

5. For 50 years, allow the US Treasury to print interest free money instead of the Federal Reserve so we can pay off all our debts with hard work. And then after 50 years, after all our debts have been paid off, return back to the Federal Reserve so they don't nuke our country. Then reset the currency so a dollar actually buys something.

6. Plant trees and get rid of ethanol production because it's so energy negative when you take into account ALL the inputs. It would be nice to have incentives for people to plant trees to reduce all the carbon in our atmosphere instead of increasing it buy growing corn that get's processed into ethanol.

It was a lot harder than I thought it would be to come up with this list. I probably could do better. I will probably think of 10 other ones I like just as much tomorrow.

I imagine there will be lot of stupid posts with people not taking in seriously. I tend to be a far left socialist liberal with my politics. But I am open mind to hear right winger's ideas on what is the most important thing to focus on to make this country great again or just greater.

6.5 Pass a law not allowing government outsourcing to companies who's board members are not US citizens. How PTechinc.com got full access all government computers is absolutely criminal given who the owned and ran Ptechinc.com. It's kind of mind-boggling to think an Arab based middle East company probably had access to nuclear launch codes. It's quite stunning actually how much access to highest level top secrets was made available to PTechinc.com through their software. Just mind-boggling given what happened on 9/11.

3. Don't harm other people or animals, toss you in jail if you do.
4. Term limits for SCOTUS, POTUS, Senate and House
5. If you're not promoting freedoms or human rights? No foreign aid.
6. Pharmaceutical companies, if it's found that you have been doing treatments and ignoring cures, then see # 2.
7. No yoga pants. Really. We don't need to see that sh#t.

Thanks for taking this seriously. Good post. You can change your list if something better comes to mind.

I only need 1 law

all government authority must be decentralized

1) Term Limits on Congress & Senate. Should not be able to serve more than two terms. No pension, but a 401k like everyone else. No more professional politicians.

2) Voter Test. Should only be allowed to vote if you can pass basic civic exam.

3) Flat Tax. Flat tax of 15% on all income. No deductions. Fire all the IRS.

4) Sunset Provisions on all regulations. Every regulation should expire and be required to justify it's existence and efficacy. You can't add a new regulation unless you get rid of two in it's place.

5) Simplified bills. Bills should be focused on one topic. Every bill should be made available for at least two weeks prior to voting. It cannot change within that two week span prior to the vote.

This can change by the month, as the economy does;

Free daycare.

Free education.

Rehabilitate offenders with mental illness and lesser issues, find ways to deal with violent offenders - don't warehouse them.

Free medical and dental,

Find people's strengths and assist them in developing those strenghts.

The people will decide the laws by vote.

isn't California a direct democracy?

1. Make it illegal to allow for profit law enforcement. Meaning no private prisons. Tickets and fines become tax credits for property taxes, etc.

2. Ban any/all official recognition for political parties. The government should not legitimize partisanship

3. Repeal citizens United

4. Reenact a more strict form of smith mundt

5. Repeal the patriot act

6. Dissolve the irs, fbi, atf, cia, dhs, amd restructure the government to handle essential functions without redundancy

1.mandatory guns
2.no public funds to defend lawbreaking politicians and police

4.national voter id

3) The power of the national military shall be dissolved and delegated fully to the states. Involvement in war is a state decision.

Right now, I can only think of three.

2) Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of BUSINESS, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof.

3) No substance may be scheduled, restricted, or controlled.

The other three are worth waiting for,

1) National Concealed Carry. If you are licensed in one state, it should be good in all states.

2) Legalize drugs, prostitution, and gambling.

3) Get government out of students loans.

Only 2! Repeal the 16th and 17th amendments and get back to the original Constitution.

1) Back to gold standard

2) Break up big banks. No banks should be too big too fail.

3) Welfare benefits increase if you are married and living in the home.

Every member should research the 16th and 17th amendments and realize just what this did to our Constitution and nation. It gave control of our nation to the bankers.

#1 Stop government double and triple dipping on taxation - this may save all our problems (look at government spending)
