It is arguable whether France is our ally or not. They rarely have our back and are fair weather friends at best. I consider them not our enemy, but definitely not friendly to the US or it’s citizens.

They ain't too bad, just have to spill a couple glasses of over priced chardonnay.

Actually when you state stats you might want to look at all of them how many Muslim only no cops allowed zones do we have in United States compared to France. Yes we had a deputy at a school who hid like a coward plus four others who also hid but they were not public citizens they were paid to protect their community and since they hid they should all face negligent homicide charges. Could armed civilians have stopped the Paris attacks probably not could they have stopped the French priest who was beheaded in his church yes most definitely. When we had a maniac open fire at a church in us a year or so ago it was an armed citizen who traded shots with killer who ran him off.

The media spews about a 'motive' for everyone who does mass murders, immediately after the events, which suggests they are all 'lone nut' assassins, just like Oswald was!!

It's not programming, or any sort of mind-control, okay folks...they always have personal motives for it...
