What good are laws when you ignore them in order to enforce others? This is where your confusion seems to be coming from. The investigation itself is illegal.

As several officials testified before Congress, when it comes to Trump crimes, "There's no there there".

She will be writing a book to gain support so she can't be charged with leaking sensitive material that was classified. It seems the new bribe that the Far left is using these days.

Its the FBIs own internal watchdog that is call8ng them out for their violations. The FBI itself is admitting that they are violating the law at the highest levels.

It's about time these idiots left the FBI, however they should have been fired. As far as I am aware they will keep their security clearance, so they can be even more underhand at leaking.

BREAKING: Embattled FBI Lawyer Lisa Page Has Resigned

The FBI attorney, who exchanged anti-Trump text messages with another bureau official, resigned on Friday, The Daily Caller News Foundation has learned.

The lawyer, Lisa Page, tendered her resignation, the FBI confirmed.

Page has faced months of scrutiny over the text messages, which she exchanged with Peter Strzok, the former deputy chief of the FBI’s counterintelligence division.

The exchanges show a deep hostility to President Donald Trump at a time when the two officials were working on the FBI’s investigation into possible Trump campaign collusion with the Russian government. Some of the texts show Strzok and Page cryptically discussing how to proceed with the investigation, which was opened on July 31, 2016.
