Giuliani has released his statement.

This is intended to clarify the views I expressed over the past few days.

These are my views:
First: There is no campaign violation. The payment was made to resolve a personal and false allegation in order to protect the President’s family. It would have been done in any event, whether he was a candidate or not.

Second:
My references to timing were not describing my understanding of the President’s knowledge, but instead, my understanding of these matters.

Third:
It is undisputed that the President’s dismissal of former Director Comey – an inferior executive officer – was clearly within his Article II power. Recent revelations about former Director Comey further confirm the wisdom of the President’s decision, which was plainly in the best interests of our nation.
www.politico.com...

And with that he trundled off back to the naughty step.

Paying a porn star for sex is sleazy, and exponentially sleazy if the man is married at the time.

What if his wife was the one to set it up as a present?

In the end, it really doesn't matter what Trump did or didn't do. He has a permanent free pass.

His followers will just continue with snappy comebacks and deflection.

Free pass for what?

I dont have opinions on other peoples sex lives. Im sure his supporters dont either.

Clearly you prefer your horse# in short piles. Your evident rebuttal demonstrates, rather than ''all I had to say, all you were capable of hearing.

Yes, you are correct. Trump could literally shoot someone on 5th avenue while I watched and I would somehow be able to justify it. You gotta love that guy!

Trump wins again. Another American gets a job!

]

I've long said her only motivation is keeping herself in the spotlight. She's been run through like an express train in the industry and hotter, younger chicks are getting all the work. This is just a way for her to make a little extra and cash out before she hits "the wall" doing milf/granny porn.

That's the reason Trump lied about it all?

That's a terrible excuse.

What is with people and low reading comprehension? Where in the above quote did I say anything about Trump lying or justifying his lying. How could you possibly get that out of my post?

My point was she clearly is being put up to this for political and monetary gain. We all know Trump is a philanderer. Why would some washed up porn star becoming out of the woodwork telling the world she banged Trump 15 years ago if it isn't for political or monetary gain?

Her frequent features now at skrip clubs are clearly pointing to her taking advantage of her new found surge in fame.

Ouch, I think you're the one that missed the point.

I was trying to make it clear that such a poor excuse is akin to cheating on your wife and then telling her, "Well, she was a woman of loose morals, what was I supposed to do?"

I'll make it easier to read between the lines next time.

Missed this reply...if we are prosecuting lies there wouldn't be a politician left in DC...

If he lies under oath I would agree and he should be charged. Has he lied under oath?

Why do we care who he slept with when he wasn't even in politics? I thought you guys said this stuff doesn't matter (see Clinton, Bill).

Probably because one party has been claiming to be the 'party of family values' for decades now in order to garner the religious vote. But it's all a facade, and you all don't actually even care anyway... nor does the religious right who will apparently sell their own souls for this pathetic sexual predator of a used car salesman. If you believe in hell, I'd be worried.

Ah right... Libertarian. Those that can't accept that we live in a society, don't give a s__t about anyone but themselves while ironically acting as ushers for the corporatocracy. Mad respect. /eyeroll

Enlightened self interest is not a thing?

Full disclosure: I'm a registered Libertarian. Makes for weird primary ballots.
