Chemical reactions happen as a part of our universe...what we call life happens under the right conditions and is pure chemical at all stages of it...simple or complex. PERIOD

same chemical reactions and procedure you
used to make your claim? Can you repeatedly
achieve the same results in a lab? Oh and then
you still have to prove it can happen in a
hostile environment until then your PERIOD is
in the crapper.

Life as we call it is most likely a common occurrence throughout the universe, a natural part of it when conditions are right. Life also happened very early in earth's history, so that suggests it is not rare too. If we go back 600 million years to snowball earth life was basically knocked back to very simple forms, but then exploded once again. The life we see today is all related even grass to us with shared DNA, this suggests at one point there was a common ancestor even with grass.

I didn't say life was simple in the way you can just make it in a petri dish from scratch. Even what we see at simple life is extremely complex systems that took millions, 100s of millions of years to evolve. I can't even imagine how many chemical processes are going on right now in a human body, just the idea that our brains might also be natural quantum computers is just crazy. Nothing here suggests we can "write a paper on it" or mix up life like a cake. We do know that RNA was the first genetic molecule...I would start there..

Not my forte, if you are truly interested Google is your friend.

My main point is that the term life is a human construct to describe this complex chemical process. I know you are looking for something along the lines of that "spark of life" like something you can hold in your hands, but we are talking millions of years here.

As a simple path...

1. Simple life started when RNA molecules reach the point where they could self-replicate though chemical reactions as part of being a nucleic acid, this led to DNA (just a more advance form of RNA) and life as we know it today.

2. RNA Molecule is made up of the bases adenine, cytosine, guanine and uracil each of which has a chemical formula. As example cytosine is C4 H5 N3 O.

3. We can say we have created life in a lab...

The ability to self-replicate, or synthesize other RNA molecules; relatively short RNA molecules that can synthesize others have been artificially produced in the lab. The shortest was 165-bases long, though it has been estimated that only part of the molecule was crucial for this function. One version, 189-bases long, had an error rate of just 1.1% per nucleotide when synthesizing an 11 nucleotide long RNA strand from primed template strands.

4. Where do these bases for life come from..

In March 2015, NASA scientists reported that, for the first time, complex DNA and RNA organic compounds of life, including uracil, cytosine and thymine, have been formed in the laboratory under conditions found only in outer space, using starting chemicals, like pyrimidine, found in meteorites. Pyrimidine, like polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs), may have been formed in giant red stars or in interstellar dust and gas clouds, according to the scientists.

I can certainly see where you're coming from
with that. However your period seemed a bit
pretencious in the face of an infinite universe
of possibility. We dare not be so bold, as to
