Just like all export aircraft. Same airframe, their equipment. The basics are the same, and they haven't been happy with what they're seeing.

The FAGFA is actually very different then the PAKFA.

Which makes absolutely no difference. It's still a derivative of the Su-57, which means it's the same base airframe. The F-15SA is radically different from the F-15E, but it's still an F-15. The PMF (FGFA) is still an Su-57 airframe.

if one were to look at the WIKI about this prototype it even says under the picture that it is based on the SU-57.

Be same base airframe (India wanted a 2 seater) but with Indian stealth, avionics and other electronics..The biggest worry was engine longevity.Russia builds some badass engines with huge power outputs but they break a lot..

They're also not modular and have to go back to Russia for overhaul. That has been one of their persistent complaints.

The rumors that it's basically late-gen Flanker guts stuffed into a quasi-stealthy new airframe with none of the ECM abilities or sensor fusion commonly associated with 5th gen fighters?

Honestly though, if I were India the basic airframe wouldn't be an awful starting point to build a mostly-new fighter off of, and stuffing Rafale avionic guts and better engines on it before you slather it with proper RAM could probably get you one hell of a multirole aircraft, particularly if you could work the internal weapons bays to carry 2-4 meteors...

The ladder straight onto the hull probably works wonders for the ram coating.

Not bad, but look closer. It's a hairy thing once you see it.

That might be so. But India were involved with two projects and they are leaving just the one, and that is their own FAGFA project because it dont meet the standard they had in mind.

Which is a big deal because It's an Su-57 airframe. They've been unhappy with the avionics, sensors, and engines, all of which are part of the basic airframe.

There is nothing wrong with the Russian PAKFA. The US dident even pick it up when it flew from Russia to Syria.

Since you have connections i guess you can provide us with som sensor data that proves that the US actually monitored the SU 57s flight path from Russia to Syria....
How many made the tripp and did they have a escort?

Does the US have its own sensor data of their own, or is our knowledge about the SU 57s purly based on public and russian Intel 🤔

Yes of course, Russia makes the bestest equipment in the whole wide world and no one can beat them. We get it. They went from building 4th Gen fighters to building their first 5th Gen absolutely perfectly on the first try, because they're so magnificent.

Speaking of sources, never did see you prove beyond "because I said so" about them staying longer, or being there in more numbers than the Russian MoD said they were there, as you claimed.

There's a hell of a difference between reality and "Russia makes the greatest equipment ever". You should try it sometime.

That was not what i asked you about. Can you provide us with some information about our ovservations of the SU57s in Syria or its flight from Russia to Syria.

If the SU57s can make that trip without us picking up on it,... It should raise some serious questions about our capabilities to monitor a airframe we claim so much about.

EDIT.

When it comes to my claim that russia had 4 SU57s in Syria and not just the two. You now have a exelent chanse with the help of US sensor data to make your claim.
I also made the claim that these SUs were in Syria for more then just two days.

You can disprove me with some US Intel if you like

You wouldn't believe it even if I could provide raw sensor data. And as they were traveling with escorts, they would have been picked up.

And it's far more than propaganda that it's nowhere near ready for active service. Unless you expect us to believe that Russia is purposely flying them around with poor stealth coatings, exposed rivets, unreliable engines, etc.

Well, you wont know until you provide👍

Russia did fly these SU57s from Russia to Syria. To one of the hotest and moste monitored airspaces in the world right now. Without being spotted.
If russia did that without our knowledge and with a airframe that is far from completion...that is very serious stuff. The more you try to talk down the SU 57 the more impressive the SU 57 actually becomes because it can do what it did and its not even completed.
