First off we have to define the two.
Homeopathy has taken on many definitions.
1. The use of an inactive substance in lieu of active ingredients in order to garner a placebo effect.
2. The use of small doses of poisons used to garner a immune response.
3. Like cures like meaning that giving a patient a dose of whatever ails them in order to garner an immune response.
Now let us note the phrase it's all placebo.. An improperly used word in lieu of It's all placebo effect...
This creates much confusion because often when said it is meant that the results of homeopathy are simply just the same results that one would garner if homeopathy is being used as definition 1.
In other words using the homeopathy in definition 2 will often garner results that by the numbers look like definition 1.
Now with all that said let us go to the dictionary definition of homeopathy.
ho·me·op·a·thy
ˌhōmēˈäpəTHē/Submit
noun
the treatment of disease by minute doses of natural substances that in a healthy person would produce symptoms of disease.
Now let's look at modern medicine other than healing broken bones and such the pathway of the majority of modern medicine is to give a patient some form of government sponsored poison.
The only real difference between homeopathy and modern medicine is dosage, detailed research and better equipment.
Examples of homeopathy in modern medicine
Chemotherapy
Vaccines
Big Pharma producing government sponsored poisons and being administered by board certified doctors that if givin to a healthy person would cause illness.
One can safely assume that the only real difference between the two is government oversite.

LOL!
Modern medicine - take 2 paracetamol for a headache.
Homeopathy - cut a paracetamol into 1000 bits, find the smallest bit, cut the smallest bit into 1000 more pieces, find the smallest bit again, lick the bit, headache stil there because homeopathy doesn’t work.
from Greek homoios "like, similar, of the same kind" (see homeo-) + -patheia "disease," also "feeling, emotion" (see -pathy). Greek homoiopathes meant "having like feelings or affections, sympathetic."
homeopathy aims to increase the strength of a substance by diluting it, modern medicine increases the strength of it's medicines by concentrating the active ingredients. Are they not then opposite to each other?
they are chosen for their ability to kill cancer cells. How is this similar to homeopathy?

A lot of folks have defined "homeopathy," and their perception of it as: "that which does not work."
So, if something does work, it is not seen as homeopathy.
Like many things, its seen as a tool of the "other team," so anything of value is redefined in a way that makes it OK to accept.
I think there is some value in such remedies, though certainly some of it is pure BS. I feel the same about "western" medicine. I see all of it as attempts to heal what ails us. Some of it works, some of it doesn't, and we tend to be our own worst enemy somewhere along the road.
Personally, I've tried pretty much everything across the board to eliminate my issues. None of it has worked, though there are things from all camps that help me feel a bit better. So, I use 'em.

Homeopathy “dosage” is so minute that it wouldn’t do a thing. You’re basically drinking water. But all of this has been explained to you multiple times in another thread.
This sites motto is Deny Ignorance, but you just embrace it lol.

In fairness sufficient doses of homeopathic treatments can cure dehydration...

I do not think that is the goal in homeopathy.
Homeopathy is when you cut a molecule down so many millions of times in water, that said molecule/substance is no longer there. (you're basically drinking water.... maybe with a splash of honey). The key principal behind homeopathy is the belief that water has memory, and it's the water's "memory" of the molecule/substance that acts as medicine.
