Yeah, OPCW have confirmed it as Novichok. What a shocker, RT is telling massive giant obvious lies again.

I don't know why anybody trusts a word that channel says about anything, when they've been caught in so many huge blatant lies.

Sorry OP. But I think this one belongs in the LOL forum.

There you go, high grade Novichok was used

Unless your Russian, labour supporter or idiot

read your link

again "confirmed very pure military grade nerve agent"

hint: look for novichok on that paper.

The international chemical weapons watchdog has confirmed Britain's finding that a former spy and his daughter were poisoned with a nerve agent

thats the confirmation.. that classified uk findings match classified swiss findings..

any novichok nonsense is not in the OPCW report

here let me show you
.

In a published summary, the OPCW did not name Novichok, the type of nerve agent previously cited by British Prime Minister Theresa May. But it confirmed "the findings of the United Kingdom relating to the identity of the toxic chemical that was used in Salisbury.

thats according to AP

understand?

I don’t have to read it again, it clearly agrees with what the UK said it was

So, the Swiss lab has said the sample contained

1. Nerve agent BZ, and
2. Nerve agent A234

Russia said nerve agent BZ is a US/UK weapon.
Britain said A234 is a Russian weapon.

Me, I only now about the nerve agents sold in Walmart.

As for the Swuss lab why are these folks assumed to be straight? Outside of griwing Alps and making museli the Swiss manage a big chunk of the worlds secret money.
Much of it Russian, US, and British.

So the puzzle for me is why did the Washington post oublish this in the first place?

Relevant text copied below...

"Lavrov said the document indicated that the samples from Salisbury contained BZ nerve agent and its precursor. He said BZ was part of chemical arsenals of the U.S., Britain and other NATO countries, while the Soviet Union and Russia never developed the agent.

Lavrov added that the Swiss lab also pointed at the presence of the nerve agent A234 in the samples, but added that the lab noted that its presence in the samples appeared strange, given the substance’s high volatility and the relatively long period between the poisoning and the sample-taking.

He noted that OPCW’s report didn’t contain any mention of BZ, adding that Russia will ask the chemical weapons watchdog for an explanation.

Britain said that the A234 agent belonged to the family of Soviet-designed nerve agents dubbed Novichok."

“It did not name novichok directly but said: "The results of the analysis by the OPCW designated laboratories of environmental and biomedical samples collected by the OPCW team confirms the findings of the United Kingdom relating to the identity of the toxic chemical that was used in Salisbury and severely injured three people”

It clearly says it “confirms the findings of the United Kingdom relating to the identity of the toxic chemical that was used in salisbury”

We say it was Novichok and they confirm it

You are correct that they didn’t directly say it, But the confirmed what we said it was

What Britain found isn't private. Porton Down found that it was Novichok. We had a whole thread on that a few days ago.

FFS - will people stop obsessing over the word " novichok "

" novichok " is a NATO reporting code

NOT a scientific term

its military // inteligence jargon [ developed by western agencies to identify soviet // russian technologies // equipment that they had limited intelligence on ]

using the " logic " of russian propagandists .

neither the soviet union , nor russia has ever operates // owned : scud missiles

yup - thats how retarded the " objection " to " novichok " is

*Ding Ding Ding* In an official report Novichok isn't going to be called Novichok. It's going to be referred to as its scientific name. Which will give away its chemical composition.

That's why the name is classified in the public report.

When is it going to be referred to by it's "scientific name"?

Also, why is it classified? Are they just giving you a cliffhanger?

In an official report designed for experts it's not going to be called Novichok.

Think of it like this, pharmacists don't refer to drugs by the brand name. They call them by their generic name, which reveals a lot about the composition of the drug.

Novichok is the brand name.

That's not going to be how they refer to it in the report. And that's why the name is classified.

Hell, the official classification for the agents isn't even Novichok. What we know as Novichok-5, the most versatile variant, was codenamed A-232 by the Russians.

The OPCW distributed their classified report to all members, including Russia. Instead of Russia making things up and distorting what has been found, why don't they publish the report?
