Hi Sheye! Hey, I like that old song! I forgot all about it. Hope you are doing well! Yeah, the world can be a really crazy and scary place sometimes. I try holding on to the good people, places and things that are left. The words 'keep your angels close' just popped into my head. Maybe they're trying to tell us something like don't give up hope or something.

The top pic has quickly become my most popular one on Deep Dream Generator
I haven't made the other two public yet but I thought to share them here first.

In my world of waiting and waiting some more for anything too good to happen, I found out that my insurance hasn't approved the MRI I need on my hurt ankle yet. Based on past experience with the same lousy insurance company I would not be surprised if they deny it as US health care is all about making money, not helping those in need.

I never give up on hope for this world, though at times I have felt totally defeated by it. I know there are plenty of good things to keep us smiling. I just find it sad that people want to physically fight over ideologies. It’s just baffling to me .

I say the happiest people are those who go to work and care about fellow workers, and have a genuine smile and appreciation for the customers they serve. The people with all the self righteous pent up rage need to take a good long hard in the mirror and see how they are contributing to the problems.

Hello!

I have been quiet here recently due to depression and anxiety. But now i have had some major issues sorted out and i can breathe easily again. So i thought i would say hello before i walk to friend's place and grocery shopping. Hello.

Timely said that weather has been strange on a global scale. I have noticed some articles online about that too.

For those of you who are having colder weather than you would like, here is a happy sun:

For those of you who are having warmer weather than you would like, here is an icy lake:

Have a great day everyone! I'll be back later (Arnold voice)

Cool!

And i want to thank you, and all other shed members. Sometimes i fall to the depths that are unexplainable. But i read here every single day, sometimes unable to contribute. You all help me. Very much.

Saying this with gratitude.

I had some extra money and drinking right now. Beer. Not to kill the pain, just drinking. I am not sure if i know how to be happy, but calm is great for me. Super great.

I like feeling gratitude. It means that i have received something, and makes me want to make my micro-community around me feel better. Help them. When i am depressed and filled with anxiety, i am not making this world better. But when i am feeling gratitude, i can do it. Tiny bits, but it is all i can do.

"Is this better
Tell me there's a better way
I'm not afraid
I'm not gonna hide from the vultures above, serpents below
They wanna lay me to rest, but I won't go
Yeah"

Hi WIS!

I know your work makes stress build up upon you and you have to maintain your calm. This is a band you like, check this out and forget everything that relates to your job!

People all over the world fight over a great number of things. What I have been seeing more and more are that so many people have lost common sense. You see it in politics all the time with one side against the other and in other areas.

We can do our part in sharing our light in whatever way that we can and hope for the best I guess. People need comfort and hope and love in a world filled with chaos, confusion and shadows.

So i see you like small cats and big cats too. Same here. I would like to hang out with a tiger or a lion. Assuming it does not tear me apart and eat me. I could give it a good big hug, you can't really hug a small kitty cat.

Dear sweet Fin, I always love your music choices! Yay!

As for drinking, please be careful with that. You are a sweet, kind, thoughtful young man and we need you as much as you need us. We all need each other here to bring a smile, a laugh, something to ponder, music, friendship etc. That is what we as Shed members do when we can.

I understand that depression and anxiety can keep you and others away at times. I can only sit here patiently and wait for your return and that of others. I've had my own bad days where writing the simplest of things is an effort. When good days come, I hold on to that, treasure them and try to nurture those moments and myself. Today is a good day.

I always wanted to work in some wild life rescue center somewhere. That would be so amazing!

Yeah. Alcohol is a depressant. If it was invented today, it would never be allowed to be sold. But it has hundreds of years of history behind it and it is a multi billion dollar industry. I try to take it easy, at least this weekend. I made food and slept, i feel like i actually slept for the first time in a week. I had worries but they are mostly gone now.

Earlier today, when i returned from downtown, in a bus, an elderly gentleman stepped into the bus. He had two huge boxes of strawberries. He offered some to the bus driver "Oh come on, take another one." "This one is nice looking, juicy and deep red, take that too" Bus driver ate and smiled. It was a random act of kindness and somehow helped me to see this world in a better light.

I love simple acts of kindness.
It takes so little to bring a bit of joy to someone.

I want to tell you that i think that you are strong. You may not always feel that way, when you are in pain (and recent extreme heat with broken air conditioner). But you never put your negative things upon other people's shoulders. I see that as great strength. I want you to remember that.
